(AP)  Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday that President Bush sent a "message of confrontation" during his recent Mideast trip.

Bush spent much of his visit to the region, which he wrapped up on Wednesday, rallying support among Arab allies for a strong stance against Iran - calling the country the world's top sponsor of terrorism.

"President George Bush sent a message to the Iranian people and all the nations worldwide," said Ahmadinejad during an interview in Farsi with Al-Jazeera television. "This message reflects his own conceptions and it is a message of rift, a message of sowing the seeds of division. It is a message of confrontation demeaning the dignity of mankind."

Ahmadinejad also lashed out at Iran's enemy Israel, a key U.S. ally in the Mideast, saying the country was "rapidly doomed to collapse."

"All these nations believe they (the Israelis) are a murderous group carrying arms and trying through threats to change its image," said Ahmadinejad.

Israel on Thursday successfully tested a new long-range missile, said senior defense officials speaking on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the project. Israeli radio reports indicated the missiles are capable of being armed with nuclear warheads.

Ahmadinejad dismissed the missile test, saying Israel "lacks the courage to launch any attack against the Iranian state."

"They are aware that any attempt or strike will be confronted by a very strong response," added the Iranian president.

Tensions between Iran and both Israel and the U.S. have remained high over Tehran's controversial nuclear activities. The U.S. and Israel claim Iran's program could be a pathway to nuclear weapons development, but Tehran insists its intentions are peaceful.

"They would like to deceive our people alleging that the nuclear capability would amount to a nuclear weapon," said Ahmadinejad on Thursday.

U.S. attempts to keep up international pressure against Iran were complicated by a December intelligence report saying Iran suspended its weapons development program in 2003 and has not restarted it.

Mr. Bush used his first major Mideast trip to stress to Arab allies that Iran's continued uranium enrichment - a process that can produce fuel for a nuclear reactor or fissile material for a bomb - still posed a threat to the region.

The U.N. Security Council has passed two sets of sanctions against Iran for the country's refusal to suspend enrichment. Germany and the five permanent Security Council members plan to meet Tuesday in Berlin for talks that diplomats say will include attempts finalize a third set of sanctions.

Ahmadinejad said the U.N. Security Council had no legal justification for focusing on Iran's nuclear program, claiming their sanctions were based on false information.

"If we pay close attention today, it is opportune time for the U.N. Security Council to rectify their false statements," said Ahmadinejad.

The Iranian president said his country's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency meant that the IAEA should be the only U.N. body with jurisdiction over the nuclear issue.

In November, an IAEA report said Iran had been generally truthful about key aspects of its nuclear history, but warned that its knowledge of Tehran's present atomic work was shrinking.

Moscow -- Armed forces will be used if necessary, including preventively and with the use of nuclear weapons, for protection of Russia and its allies, the Russian Armed Forces'' Chief of the General Staff Yuri Baluyevsky said on Saturday.

"We do not intend to attack anybody. But all our partners must realize that for protection of Russia and its allies if necessary armed forces will be used, including preventively, including with the use of nuclear weapons," Baluyevsky was quoted by the Itar-Tass news agency as saying.

Baluyevsky reportedly made the statement at a scientific conference of the Academy of Military Sciences.

Reuters uk-business: January 14, 2008 reported that US/Iran tensions over it''s nuclear programs may cause Iran to retaliate by cutting oil production. This will cause the price of oil to go even higher. More profits for BIG OIL. Part of Cheney''s energy policy is to build multiple pipelines from many areas of the region so that the US & British oil interests can control global markets and weaken Russia''s and Irans positions.

Reuters uk January 18, 2008 : " Iran has some awesome colleagues. Russia and China have become guardians of the Iranian economy. They don%u2019t put religion between business and political advantages. The US is sorely lacking in intelligent Foreign Policy. Hitler%u2019s Foreign Policy has been resurrected to serve the needs of an oil agenda and turn the US into the most disrespected and despised world power ".

The Bush administration is trying to stop a new Natural gas deal between Iran and Italy. Next to Russia Iran has the second largest supply of natural gas. The new pipeline will move several billion cubic feet per day across Turkey and then either Greece or Albania. The gas export to Europe is being strongly opposed by Bush & Cheney as it does''''nt fit in with their master energy plans.

You cant tell by looking at them. You can only tell by watching them. They won''t advertise their religion, they will answer any question you ask about GOD as truthfully as they know it. They will not browbeat you or belittle you into accepting religion. They will not hide the fact that they are christian nor will they brandish it like a sword. So to respond to you correctly. I just did. Just remember, Jesus re-issued GODs commandments but boiled them down to just two, They are sufficient.

In the Daily telegraph, July 22, 2007 Condoleeza Rice stated her main objective in the middle east " was not to push a ceasefire in Lebanon, but to cause an isolation of Syria and Iran" . The strategic objective is all tied to oil and oil pipelines.
The Israel Turkey pipeline has been in the works for some time now. In April of 2006 Israel & Turkey made their announcement which included four pipelines which will bypass Syria & Lebanon. The source of the oil is the BTC pipeline from the Caspian Sea Region. Shareholders in the BTC pipeline are: British Petroleum, AzBTC, Chevron, Statoil, TPAO, ENI, Total, Itochu, INPEX, ConocoPhillips & Amerada Hess. Another very important factor on the war with Lebanon is that Israel will have a strategic role in protecting the pipeline and transportation corridor out of Ceyhan Turkey. The strategy will weaken Russian oil''s role in central asia and also isolate Iran.

January 9, 2008 Bush met with the president of Turkey on the 10th he was in Israel. The connection are the Turkey Israeli pipelines, the real purpose of the recent middle east peace summit . The actual story are the proposed oil pipelines that will be built down the coast from Turkey to Israel. Condi Rice is trying to broker this deal. BP oil, US oil interests and the Saudis all have a stake in that pipeline. Domonique Strauss- Khan managing director of the International Monetary Fund and Robert Zoellick president of the World Bank were in attendance. Big money won%u201Dt finance the venture without stability in the region.

Eilat-Ashkelon Pipeline Co. major Israeli oil company needs more crude and this is why the Turkey Israeli pipelines are going to be built%u2026%u2026From there corporate site some info..%u201D.One of the reasons that triggered this project was the assumption that part of the crude oil produced in Russia, the Central Asian Republics or in the Caucasus and loaded at Black Sea ports can be marketed at competitive prices for distribution in Southern Asia and the Far East%u201D.

Russia is the second largest supplier of oil on the planet, the Saudis are number one. After Saddam was removed they lost one of there sources and moved to Iran to fill the void. In exchange they also negotiated contracts to build multiple nuclear power plants in Iran. Russia is well aware of the Cheney plan for the Casapian Sea pipeline which will be cheaper to build if the US goes through Iran. Iran does not want to negotiate with the US on this pipeline. Cheney wants regime change, but Russia does not because it%u2019s not in there economic interest. Thats the real deal !

Russia reneged on contracts with BP oil UK for new Siberian wells and also renegotiated contracts for existing BP production wells in Russia for less money. BP was not happy and teamed up with US oil interests for the Caspian Pipeline deal now under construction.

Nothing has changed on Iran. The administrations interest in Iran & nukes is a smoke screen for their real agenda. Their true interests are Cheney%u2019s energy policy.Condi Rice is a former board member of Chevron Oil and mouthpiece for the administrations energy policy. Part of that policy is the The Caspian Sea pipeline which will go through Turkmenistan, Afghanistan,Pakistan, to the gulf of Oman and on to India & Nepal. It will be cheaper to construct if they can go through Iran, but regime change is necessary first. The Caspian sea area holds one third of the world%u2019s oil and south asian oil markets are their target market. This pipeline was also the reason for the Afghanistan invasion. Cheney%u2019s energy policy is the root of all these middle east wars, a federal court judge sealed all documents associated with it for the administration, and the national media are not allowed to discuss or comment on it. More troops are needed in Afghanistan to protect the contractors building the pipeline. Iran stands in the way of total control of global oil now with sales of oil to China%u2019s Sinopec Oil,deal signed Dec.10,2007. Months ago China said there would be dire consequences if the US interfered with there direct oil contracts with Iran. Both parties in the Congress should be very concerned with China%u2019s growing war machine and need for oil. They are the real threat & the administration doesn%u201Dt care they are in control ! All that matters to them is BIG OIL .

Great information samsel3 - it reveals what I''ve leaned toward all along - our administration acts on ''money lines'' to BIG OIL - not in the interest of our safety or well-being. Bush sold out many moons ago in Midland, Texas to Big Oil and nothing will change that now........

What is sad is so many stupid people believe he and his administration have ACTED to protect us - when in reality they have acted to MAKE MORE MONEY........

Man of the Year, President Putin, leader for life of Russia, has made Russia a wealthy country with over $3billion surplus. The US Administration wanted Russia in an inferior position and has done plenty to annoy Russians, including wanting to plant radar and missiles on its border countries.
Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) spoke out yesterday about our misbehaviour towards the Russians. He is right.
The Russians have usually had a detrimental effect on the US when we don''t get along, such as in Africa, Korea, and Viet Nam.
Right now, Bush as spent a trillion dollars and smashed our economy over a couple of NY buildings.
He is not the dumbest president. Eisenhower takes the title. In 1960, he was to meet with Khrushchev to end the cold war once and for all. But he permitted CIA spy Gary F. Powers to overfly the USSR from Peshawar, Pakistan (APO 09665) to Bodo, Norway. He was shot down, captured, and imprisoned, and the cold war lasted another 30 years at a cost of trillions in US money worth only $25/ounce. It is over $900/ounce now.

The leader of a Middle Eastern country will be able to obtain a nuclear weapon. He will go to the greatest lengths over the smallest things and will not hesitate to use the weapon because of his obsessions with deadly warfare. The people he is warring against retaliate with a nuclear weapon. The country has a coast on the Mediterranean.
One of the bombs will land in the Mediterranean instead of the land, poisoning all the fish. The passages of trade in the region will be disrupted so that the people on the other coast will be desperate for food and will eat the fish anyway. It will happen near the east coast of the Mediterranean in a region of dark-colored cliffs.
The nuclear weapon being dropped by one of the Middle Eastern countries will spark off yet another war on top of that war. European nations will try to interfere to diminish the threat to oil supplies. When the European countries try to interfere, the crazed leader will use the rest of his arsenal on Europe, most striking the Italian Peninsula.
The European Mediterranean coast, particularly that of Italy and France, will be almost uninhabitable, and Italy will get the brunt.

samsel3 - Very interesting posts. Where are you finding this information?

Apparently Bush/Cheney have no faith in American ingenuity to solve the energy problems. What happened to the burning of sea water though use of RF energy that was posted some months ago. That seems promising, of course no profit there for Big Oil.

Thanks again for the enlightenment. Do you have a web site? If not please make one and post this information on it.
