Not A Happy Week In Hollywood

Behind Britney Meltdown Videos
Paparazzi websites are springing up all over the internet. Sheeraz Hasan of Hollywood.tv tells Maggie Rodriguez how they got inside shots of Britney Spear's meltdown and how they cover her 24/7. | Share/Embed
(CBS) With one notable exception, it wasn't a very happy week in Hollywood. There were more casualties in the wake of the writers strike, more havoc in the Britney Spears meltdown, and Mr. Blackwell turned his poison pen on ten sartorially-challenged (in his eyes) stars. On top of that, inquiries into separate medical tragedies left two stars with lingering questions about their loved ones' treatment. At least there was a happy note out of Nashville to redeem the week.
Family members of Britney Spears were furious at TV's Dr. Phil for not staying mum on his hospital visit with the troubled pop star. Dr. Phil had originally said he would discuss her case on his daily talk show, but later announced that he'd changed his mind after drawing criticism for the idea.
Dennis Quaid and his wife denounced the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Thursday over a "lack of candor" about medical errors they believe caused their newborn twins to receive overdoses of a blood thinner. The couple said they were particularly upset to learn from a state investigation that their babies were given dosages of heparin that were 2,000 times stronger than what was prescribed.Photos: Standoff At Britney's
Kanye West may never know the true cause of his mother's death. Coroner's officials said Thursday that Donda West, 58, most likely died of heart disease coupled with complications after plastic surgery in November, a day after she had breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction procedures.
The Golf Channel's Kelly Tilghman caused an uproar by joking that Tiger Woods' young competitors should "lynch him in a back alley" if they want to win against the golf champ. The network suspended her for two weeks, but some observers, such as the Rev. Al Sharpton, want her canned.
A woman blames Lindsay Lohan for causing her emotional trauma, costing her thousands of dollars in doctors' bills and the loss of her job after a traffic incident involving the actress. The woman, the mother of a young woman who worked as Lohan's assistant, was riding in a car the troubled Lohan was chasing before being arrested. She's suing Lohan for an undisclosed amount.Photos: Tiger Woods
Ten Hollywood stars could be seeing red after being named to Mr. Blackwell's annual worst dressed list. The venomous fashion critic said of list-topper Posh Spice: "In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty Posh can really wreck-em." Ouch!
There was no red to be seen Tuesday night after the red carpet was pulled out from under the People's Choice Award thanks to the Writers Guild of America strike. With stars refusing to cross picket lines, it was also announced that the Golden Globes will be canceled and the Academy Awards are also in jeopardy. The writers strike is wreaking havoc on awards season, affecting limo drivers, designers, glam squads, party planners and caterers.Photos: Fashion's Worst Offenders
On a happier note, Nicole Kidman, 40, is expecting a baby. She and her husband, country singer Keith Urban "are thrilled," a publicist for the actress said.Photos: 2008 People's Choice Award Winners

Hahahahahaaaa...hysterically funny...NOTHING about this stupid family is discreet...NOTHING. What a bunch of idiots!! Furious because someone ELSE failed to be DISCREET? Truth...furious because they didn''t get to milk it all on their own. This entire family...aunts, uncles, cousins....all inbred into one big, stupid family...needs to all go under intense treatment for insanity.
The network suspended her for two weeks, but some observers, such as the Rev. Al Sharpton, want her canned....
Again...too funny. Sharpton has appointed himself guardian of ''honky speak''...language whites ADOPT from black lingo, and removes himself from being ''monitored'' during his sermons which are PEPPERED with hatred of whites. Suddenly he is the ''all knowing'' guru of the ''intent'' of ''white-speak''...it''s not enough that WORDS are off limits...now he knows what the INTENT of the words are instantly as they roll off the lips. He is a bloated bag of hypocrisy walking around in self-important, designer clothing. Had the subject of the comment been a white golfer...NOTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTED!!! Waste of skin...
