"Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow" Platform: PSP
How the heck do you make Playstation Portable's 2006 Game of the year better? The amazing team behind SF: Dark Mirror kept all the great aspects of last year's PSP winner. Precise control, a great storyline, and intense action are literally found throughout the game. This kind of title is exactly what the PSP needs in its library, and what you need in your stocking stuffer.
Close 2nd Stocking Stuffer: "Jeanne D'Arc"

"The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass" Platform: Nintendo DS
Nintendo knows how to make their flagship products shine! Anyone who every wanted to take the Zelda experience with them on the go needs to look no further than this game. While a little on the easy side for most people, you will not hate it any less due to everything that it does so well on the DS.
Close 2nd and 3rd Stocking Stuffers: "Phoenix Wright: Trials & Tribulations" & "Geometry Wars: Galaxies"

"Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction" Platform: Playstation 3
Biased as I am to the "Ratchet and Clank" series, it officially marks the start of the Playstation 3's 2nd generation of games. It shows the PS3 and its developers are not only getting warmed up for the 2nd year, some of them are already on fire! Luscious graphics, pinpoint control, a galaxy wide storyline, humor R&C fans have come to know and love and a replay value that keeps you coming back for more makes this one easy to put under the tree!
Close 2nd Stocking Stuffer: "Assassin's Creed"

"Metroid Prime 3: Corruption" Platform: Nintendo Wii
This title shows the world that you don't need next-gen graphics engine and hardware to make a great first person shooter. Classic Metroid gameplay, clever environmental puzzles and fierce action combined with incredibly intuitive controls lets you forget looking at the controls and just get down to the awesome Space Pirate blasting business that you need to get to.
Close 2nd Stocking Stuffer: "Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure"

"Orange Box" Platform: Xbox 360
Take a PC Game of the year, two of its critically acclaimed expansion packs, a highly anticipated sequel to a multiplayer game of the year, and add an original yet incredible addicting puzzle game, throw it all in a box and try to sell it. What would you expect to pay? Do you say $250? Do you say $150? How about I say $59.99 and go get it!
Close 2nd Stocking Stuffer: "Mass Effect"

"Guitar Hero III" Platform: PlayStation 2
This outstanding series just keeps getting better and better. While the content for the PS2 has been slowing down a little, don't let that stop you from rocking out the only way you know how! Bonus points for being able to use the updated wireless guitar with your older "Guitar Hero" and "Guitar Hero II" games!
Close 2nd Stocking Stuffer: "DragonBall Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3"
