It is good to see a story like this to make the parents more aware of the dangers that are out there for their kids. Internet Predators are a very real danger, a danger that parents need to realize. If parents figure their kids are safe because they are in their bedroom on the computer and not out in the real world, they may be in for a rude awakening. The only way to protect them is to know what they are doing on the computer at all times. Parents should really think about using a computer monitoring program. The Predators are out there and they are chatting with your kids.

The highest duty of a parent is to love their children. Love is not a fleeting emotion that comes and goes. It is, simply, "I''''m going to do everything in my power to protect you from what you''''re not ready to deal with. If it becomes too much for you to handle, I will put a stop to it." There was a time when all it took was a glance, a swat, a spanking, or a restriction. With all the intervention of technology (not computers .. the internet), none of those are enough. We are in the age of information, and teenagers learn quickly, and too often, they don''''t have a clue what they''''re learning. Then, they get caught in adult games that have disasterous effects such as what the story talks about. The suicide of a daughter who had a falling out with a friend. Or a teenage girl somehow acquiring plane tickets to the middle east to become an unwilling wife to a radical moslem (which was told a few years back). Or, gee, not too long ago, last year, there was an FBI sting on several child molestors who used the internet to talk teenage children into sexual activities with them, meeting them in their own homes (last year).

To take the bull by the horns and when they pick the rose to mind the thorns. Teach them to do the best they can in everything they do. Invasion of Privacy? The average so-called ''all american parent'' is weak, and worthless. American teens are social ******. Get over it. Its the parents fault, your fools, and you get what you D-E-S-E-R-V-E!(I even spelled it out for you because not only do you not deal with reality, but you just dont get it)

Get yourself, and that worthless, no nothing ignorant teen(s)of yours, in the real world,.....before a ''predator'' puts you there - duh.

This is insane. Just get rid of the blasted computer! These mothers don''t think twice about chucking toys that may or may not be made with hazardous materials. But when it comes to a scenario that has PROVEN to cause kids harm, these parents just sit back and hope for the best?
