Oops! Lawmaker Shows Students Topless Gal

(AP)  An Ohio state legislator surprised a high school class when the computer he was using projected a photo of a nude woman during a lecture on how a bill becomes a law.

State Rep. Matthew Barrett was giving an American government lesson Tuesday when he inserted a data memory stick into the school computer and the projected image of a topless woman appeared instead of the graphics presentation he had downloaded.

Police interviewed Barrett and school officials and seized the data memory stick and the computer to determine where the image came from, a state highway patrol spokesman said.

Barrett said there were a few snickers from the approximately 20 students in the senior government class at Norwalk High School when the image appeared. He said he immediately pulled the memory stick out of the computer.

The legislator said he finished his lecture using printouts and then met with the school's principal and technology staff, who examined the stick. He said the school's technology director determined the stick had a directory of nude images in addition to Barrett's presentation on civics lessons.

"I have no idea where these came from," the Democrat said.

Barrett said the data memory stick was a gift he received about three weeks ago from a legislative liaison from the state Library of Ohio.

MityWhity - please define "socialist". And would the definition include corporations who offshore jobs to ''developing'' countries who are building big middle classes and, for some, are said not to like the United States?

Other than a good laugh, I hardly see this as newsworthy. I don''''t regard the female body as obscene, so the only damage is a red face for the senator and a good time for the kids. I am surprised that law enforcement was called in. The senator and the school administrators couldn''''t handle this?

Nope, now the school will have to employ a full-time counselors and sensitivity coaches so we can try to repair the damage that horribly graphic image will cause to their impressionable psyche.

What''''s the big deal. It''''s just some naked boobies? Little European kids see boobies on tv every day? Americans kids see ''''em at night on Sinamax. Why not in the class room. Livens things up a little. :)

Would''ve paid more attention if we had gotten boobies in class. Did see a professors home video of his vacation to a topless beach in Mexico. But, that was in college.

I don''''t usually watch movies, so please forgive me if I am wrong, but aren''''t movies that show bare breasts rated R? If they are, then wouldn''''t the police have to classify this as a "crime" since the high-schoolers are under 18 and those under cannot cannot attend an R rated movie without a guardian?

Even so, this story gave me my laugh for the day.

I''''ll bet he also claims he didn''''t inhale!

!7 is legal age to see "R" movies, 18+ for "X". Although I was getting in to see R movies at 15.

...Americans that complained to CBS about Janet Jacksons wardrobe malfunction exposing her nipple during Super Bowl XXXVIII: over 500,000. Canadians that complained: about 10. Posted by ConDumism...

Actually, the 10 Canadians who complained, complained that CBS wouldn''t show the other nipple :)

Should have taken a lesson on reviewing your report to check for accuracy. But as with most politicians, they just assume they are perfect and got it right the first time.
