Pit Bulls Unearthed At DMX's Home

Raid Last Month Netted Three Slain Dogs, Weapons, Marijuana

(AP)  Authorities say two dogs found buried at a Phoenix-area home owned by rapper DMX had serious wounds, and a third had been burned so badly that an exam was inconclusive.

The remains were found during a raid on the house last month amid allegations of animal neglect.

Authorities also found 12 live pit bulls, a number of weapons and about a quarter-ounce of marijuana.

No charges have been filed against DMX or anyone else, but the Maricopa County sheriff says that could change. The sheriff says, "Someone's going to have to pay for this."

A lawyer for DMX says the rapper hasn't been at the home for months and was paying caretakers and veterinarians to care for the animals. He says there's nothing to connect his client to animal abuse, suggesting authorities are preying on DMX's celebrity.

Didn''t that scum that most know as Michael Vick, initially say the same thing about his house?...that he hadn''t been there in months??? If my memory is serving me correctly, then DMX, you too, can join Vick in the human scum category! Really though, couldn''t you have come up with something a bit more original, when you spoke to absolve yourself of responsibility in what''s happend?

Maybe DMX (does he have a REAL name) and Michael Vick could be cellmates. They would certainly have a lot in common...and just think, Vick would have an inhouse rapper friend...rap 24/7/365...I bet he''s foaming at the mouth in anticipation!

Where did he find these caretakers and veterinarians, at a dogfight?

Just another example of the arrogance of people who obtain often unwarranted celebrity and suddenly think they can do whatever they want. The rules and mores of civilised society no longer apply to them because they are bad-a$$ed rappers or sports stars who make tons of money and receive adulation from simpletons. You''d think these idiots would occasionally pick up a paper or check out the news on TV to see what''s happening to their compadres when they get caught doing stuff like this. Pathetic!

Ron Paul has it all. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/about

**** TAKE AMERICA BACK ****
**** STOP THE WAR & Corporate Corruption****

Ron Paul has it all.

He has NEVER voted:
* to raise taxes
* for an unbalanced budget
* to raise congressional pay
* for a federal restriction on gun ownership
* to increase the power of the executive branch

He HAS voted:
* against the Iraq war
* against the inappropriately named USA PATRIOT act
* against regulating the internet
* against the Military Commissions Act

He will eliminate the IRS, Wasteful Government Spending & Stop The Iraq War Immediately!

Most importantly, he voted NO on anything in Congress that is not allowed by the Constitution.

He is the only candidate not a member of the CFR!

Shouldn''''t ALL members of Congress uphold the Constitution? Aren''''t they SWORN to uphold it? You can bet Paul won''''t call the Constitution "just a G**D***ed piece of paper" like George Bush is reported to have.

If you want a candidate you can TRUST due to a proven track record, visit ronpaul2008.com and get busy spreading the word. The Mainstream Media is a lagging indicator!!

"Pit Bulls, and several other breeds, ought to be treated no differently than loaded weapons found on a playground.

We had a Pit Bull and a 6 year old child. He was one of the best dogs we ever had and never harmed anyone in his 13 years of life.

People "breed" nastyness and contempt into animals of all kinds, not just dogs.
