Reports: Jude Law Arrested In London

(AP)  Police arrested Jude Law for allegedly attacking a photographer outside his London home, British media reported Wednesday.

The 34-year-old actor allegedly tried to grab the photographer's camera during the incident on Tuesday, Britain's Press Association said. He was released on bail and must return to a London police station in October.

Law's publicist was not immediately available for comment.

Police would not directly confirm the report, but said a 34-year-old man from Law's neighborhood was arrested on suspicion of causing bodily harm. Police added the man voluntarily went to a police station for questioning.

Law recently returned from the Venice Film Festival where he was promoting the remake of the movie "Sleuth," in which he co-stars with Michael Caine.

Remake of "Sleuth." I bet that''s going to be great. Will die at the box office. Kids don''t want to see that.

Don''t we have any good script writers any more?
Does every other movie HAVE to be a remake?

Who the heck is Jude Law, and what has he done that merits celebrity status?

Cameras stuck in your face every time you step outside. Got to get old fast. But that''s the price you pay for fame & fortune. Can''t give your kids a spanking without worrying about who''s watching. Don''t rush out to the convenience store at 1am in your curlers
& bedroom slippers.

It''s never going to end as long as the magazines/newspapers/tabloids are prepared
to pay healthy sums to photographers for
"candid shots."

Good for him, maybe this will help something be done about the harrassment they receive from the photographers. It must be a nightmare.

Good for him. I don''t know how all those people can put up with the relentless pursuit of photographers. They might be rich and famous, but I''d rather have anonymity.

Good. I don''t know why photogs can''t be charged inciting assault...the same way drivers should be charged with inciting road rage. It''s the behavior that precedes that needs to be dealt with now. These people provoke the very behavior they file charges against. How stupid is that?
