(CBS)  Looks like Kyle, Kenny, Stan and Eric will be spending another few years in the fourth grade.

"South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have agreed to a three-year extension of their Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning animated series. The deal with Comedy Central also includes a joint venture to create South Park Digital Studios to extend the shows reach across various digital platforms.

"Three more years of 'South Park' will give us the opportunity to offend that many more people," Stone said in a statement released Monday. "And since Trey and I are in charge of the digital side of 'South Park,' we can offend people on their cell phones, game consoles, and computers too. It's all very exciting for us."

Parker and Stone will continue to write, direct and edit every episode of "South Park," as they have since the premiere of the series in August 1997.

The new digital venture includes a relaunch of the fan site SouthParkStudios.com in the first quarter of 2008. New episodes of "South Park" will begin on Oct. 3 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

"South Park" is nominated for an Emmy for the episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft." The Emmy winners will be announced on Sept. 16.
