(CBS)  Former "American Idol" finalists Elliott Yamin and Constantine Maroulis will be sharing the stage along with singer-songwriter Jon McLaughlin for a concert in an episode of "The Bold And The Beautiful" airing Friday.

Maroulis, who plays record promoter Constantine Parros on the daytime drama, will be joined by fellow cast members Mackenzie Mauzy and Kyle Lowder.

The concert is tied in to an online contest called "Boldface Challenge" which ran in the first few weeks of August.

Viewers were invited to choose between duets by Maroulis' character with his young protegee, Phoebe Forrester (Mackenzie Mauzy) and Phoebe's duet with her former boyfriend, Rick Forrester (Kyle Lowder). Videos of each duet were posted on the Web site of Parros' fictional record company, Boldface Records. Viewers, who voted by text or online, were automatically entered into a sweepstakes for various prizes and a grand prize of a trip for two to Los Angeles to visit the site of the popular daytime drama.

The grand prize winner of the sweepstakes will be announced on Friday's episode, and the duet challenge winner will be announced on Monday.

During the concert, Yamin will perform his single, "Wait For You," McLaughlin will perform "Beautiful Disaster" and Maroulis will present his song "Fading Into You."

Yamin appeared on season five of "American Idol," ending in the top three before being eliminated. Maroulis, who appeared on season four, was eliminated after making it to sixth place.

Well, first off Jayekimberly, I''m NOT on their website. I''m on CBS''s website and where do you see where I said I''ve never seen the show? Even as an AI groupie, you need to pay more attention to detail before you say stupid things.

If this is such a crappy show then why are you on thier web-site? And how do you know it''s such a crappy show unless you have watched it? You must be an American Idol REJECT.

What happens to washed up American Idol performers when their 15 minutes is almost up? As a last gasp, they end up in some stupid excuse for a scene on a crappy soap opera before they fade into oblivion forever. Last year, the ratings for Amer. Idol were down dramatically ... isn''t it about time to say goodbye to this stupid, plastic show yet?

Thanks for the information on the Bold and the Beautiful Concert tomorrow! Constantine is not singing a Celine Dion cover, however; it is a new single called FADING Into You from his CD written by fellow Greek songwriter, Emanuel Kiriakou.
According to the behind-the-scenes crew at the Bold and the Beautiful, this is the first ever major concert event in the history of the show!
Can''t wait to see it!
