Billy Graham Remains Hospitalized

(AP)  Evangelist Billy Graham remained in fair condition Tuesday at a hospital near his mountainside home and hasn't experienced any more episodes of intestinal bleeding, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Graham, 88, has been hospitalized since experiencing an initial bout of bleeding Saturday. He had a second episode Monday but spent Tuesday visiting with family and friends and taking walks outside his hospital room, said Merrell Gregory, spokeswoman for Mission Health & Hospitals.

The bleeding may have been caused by diverticuli, or small pouches that can form in the lower intestine, hospital officials said. A diverticular bleed often begins suddenly and may stop on its own.

Graham's spokesman, Larry Ross, said the minister experienced a similar intestinal bleed during his 1995 crusade in Toronto.

Graham, who has a variety of ailments, including Parkinson's disease and age-related macular degeneration, has been largely confined to his western North Carolina home in recent years. His wife of 64 years, Ruth Bell Graham, died in June following a lengthy illness.

Genuinely concerned about the poor and destitute? Look at Samaritan''''s Purse website, and see how much money, practical assistance, medical help, and food this Graham organization gives without religious or ethnic distinction--to Muslim countries, to victims of Hurricane Katrina, to the students of VA Tech, and to millions of children in every country in the world. Or maybe you''''ve done more???

-All acts of this creature will be judged by Humanity. May the CREATOR have pity on his souls. Pretty sure his giving-away of goods to poor people pales in comparison with his islamophobia and his hatred.

Billy is doing better now, but maybe he can still cash in on his illness yet... all you at home send in some monies to Billy, so you can all go to heaven someday......... If all these ministries were worried about human life they would stop building these vast empires and help the poor and destitute.

someone asked me recently,

if there''s people building space ships that are automated with talking computers

then will the future entail people building space ships that are automated with talking people

and if they are automated with talking people,

then will tehy be maid of vinerals or of vegetables

and if they are made of vegetables and automated with talking people,

then will those made vegetables and automated talking people require a cpu

and, more importantly, then might those made vegetables and automated taqlking folk be interchangable with made folk and automated talking vegetables

i used to blame journalists for everything

i still do in a way

not so much because they are responsible

but because they are not, yet people see them that way

ladies lived through mens world wars and mens great depressions and mens religions and currencies and languages

while those men were busy eliminating all the competion, those ladies stood by their men and their armies and such

but they got old and bought guns to sleep with afraid to leave home and afraid to stay

and, socially afforded no market share, they died scared because for them ''beruit'' of all the militants out to save the world was in their living rooms,

not the one on t.v., the one trying to break into the front door while they sat and watched

and no one reported live from their studios

it''s not an issue of technology, cbs should have been bigger than the internet before the internet was,

but ancient problems have ancient solutions,

respect,

stop silencing people in the name of fear of ''evil savages''

most hang flowers on their walls while jounalists and entertainers decorate the gossip with militants

i followed the little hall, from the little cafeteria that adjoined the little detention that the little cafetearia staff was too busy to tend except for pushing the tiny lunch carts in and out of the tiny detention where they were stored for pickup and delivery, i followed the little hall, to my tiny classroom where the tiny lunches were going to the tiny schools tinyest of tiny children, my heart had stopped several minutes before, i followed the hall, and out on the street i could see all these people milling about in my mind, they were talking about the people they loved that needed attention and help, and i thought all kids should be in the streets talking about the people they loved that needed attention and help, my heart never restarted, but, half in my mind and half out, a dragon threw someone from an airplane, someone that survived to invest more money and more votes in non charity and taxation, and the dragon said: usually i throw myself from airplanes without a parachute and asked me what it''s like standing halfway between eternity past and eternity yet to come and told me most authorities most time remind all that most folk most time dance get well feed world songs rallied around sick beds drifting tens millions spore bloom weed dragon trail fickle first aid lunch farm cottage studio trail groups
