Iran: Israel Is "Standard Bearer Of Satan"

Iran's President Ahmadinejad Says The Jewish State Will Soon Fall Apart

Key events in once friendly, now contentious relationship between Washington and Tehran.

(AP)  Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Saturday that Israel was the standard bearer of Satan and the Jewish state would soon fall apart, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported Saturday.

The agency quoted Ahmadinejad as he spoke at a religious conference and did not elaborate on what he meant by Satan. Since the 1979 Islamic revolution, however, Iran has regularly referred to the United States as "the Great Satan."

"The Zionist regime is the standard bearer of invasion, occupation and Satan," he said, predicting Israel's eventual demise. "When the philosophy behind the establishment of a regime is in question, it is not unlikely that it will find itself on a course of decline and dissolution."

Ahmadinejad has made anti-Israel comments in the past.

In October 2005, he caused outrage in the West when he said in a speech that Israel's "Zionist regime should be wiped off the map."

His supporters have argued Ahmadinejad's words were mistranslated and should have been better translated as "vanish from the pages of time" — implying Israel would vanish on its own rather be destroyed.

That israel is the standard bearer for;

OCCUPATION & INVAISION

is factually true.

The hope that the zionist neocon philosophy will disappear is widely shared by many, many people who know that this is the major cause for terrorism in this century.

Hence, I can only applaud Iran''s President for his frankness and honesty.

I realize, for some, openly and honestly critizing israel is "un-diplomatic", but it is not uncommon, except in our country where there exists a kind of halo over this trouble-making statlet.

The fact is israels continued insistence in decimating the palestinian population and colonizing their lands, is unacceptable and those who say it publically are doing them a service in the long run - if they ever listen.

B.u.l.l.s.h.i.t!! Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad''s unprofessional and undiplomatic language has nothing to do with Israel, that''s where you''re wrong, the target nation of that language doesn''t matter! If Israel''s Prime Minister said the same thing about Iran I would make the same argument, feel exactly the same way, and that''s why you are wrong and missing the point, the target and source of the unprofessional and undiplomatic language makes no difference, it''s just plain stupid and wrong. Ahmadinejad is just an hate filled, violence inciting, terrorist supporting a.s.s.hole, everybody knows it and he always was! Ahmadinejad and Chavez are in a competition for the TOP A.S.S.Hole spot on the World Stage!

The last time I heard, Iran was having riots about gas and food prices going up.
I figure that Iran will have more problems in about six months, or maybe sooner?
The Islamic state will soon fall apart unless they start something else with Hezbollah and Hamas against the Jewish State.

Lets not forget that it was the lying Zionists (like William Kristol, Wolfowitz, Feith, Wurmser, Addington, Perle,) and their terrorist umbrella orginizations, (AEI, AIPAC, JINSA, PNAC) that are wholly responsible for the WMD lies and the failed invasion/occupation of Iraq that has resulted in more American deaths, injuries then 9/11 and the plunder of national treasure.

Colonizing? Every "Palestinian" land that Israel hold was taken as a result of militarily dominating the much larger Arab forces that tried to exterminate them in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973!! The Israelis would still be in their UN-declared November 1947 partition zones had they not been attacked 4 times!! They have NEVER been the agressor in these wars; and for those who will then ask about 1982; remember the Syrians and puppet-Lebanese allies were allowing the PLO (much as Hezbollah has since then) to shell Israeli villages and conduct raids against Israeli citizens and territories.

The anti-semitism here is ridiculous, Sieg Heil Aryan Nation!! To support the radical jihadist terrorist leader Ahmadinejad OVER President Bush or the Israelis is just stupid; you all need to get a life and a clue.

SinginRick - Great Post at 9:51; the anti-Semites and looney lefties here won''t admit it, but you''re dead on with your examples.

Israel is a nation courtesy of the UN in 1948, the Arabs declared war on Israel the day after, not Israel declaring war on the Arabs. The Grand Muffti of Jerusalem told the Arabs to leave because the street were going to run with the blood of Jews; they were to come back after the Jews were wiped out. Wouldn''t this be a violation of a UN mandate?
Ninty percent of the Arabs in that place came after the Jews did, it was a waste land, when the Jews made the desert bloom.
There never was such a thing as a Palestinian until the Brits gave ID cards out with it on to Arabs and Jews. Palestine was a Turkish thing and it went all the way out to Bahgdad and up to Damascus.

Every military expert knew what was going to happen when the Western armed and trained Israelis engaged the Arabs in 1948. The Arab armies moved into the UN-assigned Palestinian zones and the Israeli army moved beyond their UN-assigned area and seized additional territories.

In addition, through terrorism, they drove tens of thousands of Palestinians from their lands, murdering the men, women and children of Deir Yassin which had a peace agreement with its Jewish neighbors.

The Israeli terrorists poisoned wells in the villages so that Palestinians could not return. Later they bulldozed the villages, the cemetaries and every sign of Palestinian existence, removing the names dozens of Palestinian villages from the map. It was only in this context that the Zio-nazi terrorist, Golda Mier could speak of a ''land without people for a people without a land.''

It is way past time for the original UN partition to be implemented and peace restored to the region. Even the Saudi plan which offered recognition in exchange for the restoration of the occupied territories was rejected by the Zionist extremists. The Zionists do not fix their borders, as every nation in the world has done because they still want to expand the borders of their Reich.

Go read your history, the Arabs, 5 nations, attacked and tried to invade the nation of Israel. The Israelis didn''t run Arabs out they were told to leave by the Grand Muffti of Jerusalem who by the way was Arrafats uncle HMMM!
The Israelis were not armed by the Western Powers initially.
Arafat was offered a state in September of 2000 which would have given him 95 percent of what he asked for. He turned it down and started the Intifata to try and blame Israel for it.
The whole sticking point is the continued refusal of the Arabs to recognize Israel''s right to exist. The charters of Hamas, Fatah and Hezbolah all call for the destruction of the state of ISrael, they refuse to remove this.
This poisening wells garbage is the same hate speech as telling the Saudis telling their children that Jews drink Arab childrens blood.

The press would do us all a favor if they simply withheld the antics of this idiot and perhaps released them as a summary --say every 3 months or so. Not that our National security and everyone else would not be monitoring him--but to give this man relevancy with continual coverage for the crapppola he spouts is counterproductive.

he reminds one of an insolent child, who craves attention and delights in shocking adults by uttering the most obscene phrases he can think of in public. Without continual coverage and attention, this man not only would lose relevance in the real world, but also among his own population. Who wants a leader that the entire world ignores and smirks at?

God also said in the bible that he continually has to PRUNE (meaning destroy, weed out) the bad parts of the "true vine" (meaning his chosen) and He goes on to say, that if He will destroy and discard those of his chosen who displease Him, how much MORE will he do to those who are not his own but are the adopted children (Christians) and have merely been grafted onto the vine?

This means that while those that help Israel when Israel is right are blessed, those that help Israel when Israel is wrong shall be punished right along with Israel. And God has destroyed many of the children of Israel for evils and disobediences they have engaged in.

On another note, if we truly believe in historical ownership and seniority (and the land belonged to the Jews for at least 3 thousand years before they were driven from it, and to the Arabs for just over a thousand) then----we would all just pack up and leave America to the Native Americans whose ''ownership or squatting rights go back for about 25 THOUSAND years as opposed to the only 250+ years that we claim ownership.

After all, to avoid hypocrisy and double standards, we should expect nothing of anyone that we would not also apply to ourselves--this should include acknowledging historical ownership, right?

With this being said however you don''''t even need the Bible to see that Israel belongs to the Jews. All you need to do is open up history books and read. The Jews were in that land LONG before any Muslims existed. Muslims didn''''t even come into existence until the year 600 AD, when Muhammed formed the "Religion" of islam and wrote the Quran over his lifetime.

Posted by singinrick at 11:26 AM : Aug 18, 2007

don''t confuse the existence of a religion with the existence of a people. The land was inhabited by persons of Arab descent, other than Jews at the same time that the Jews went into that land, It is in the bible.when the bible speaks of various tribal peoples who either fought against or enslaved the Jews, it is referencing those people.

Saying that a people did not exist until their religion was created/established/or invented is ridiculous. If this were so, then the existence of all who call themselves Christians, would be limited to less than 2001 years, since the ''religion'' as such was not invented until after Christ''s death and was founded by Paul and Peter.

The American Indians where primarily nomadic and never had a sense of true land ownership. and it appears that no one was here prior to 13,000~ BC and that some Europeans may have landed here at the same time as the Indians but decided not to stay. So if you want to play it''s mine I saw it first then would have to say the evidence is suggesting that it may be a tie between the Indian dependents and Europeans. Also Arabs and Jews are the same people it really is all about a religious split, a split of faith. Those two people have the same roots across the board. It''s jsut that God smiled on the desendents of Isaac and not Ishmael.

Be careful what you say, even when reaching for your bible--you sometimes show an apalling lack of understanding of scripture and you seem also to have selective reading. Surely you realize that both Israel and Arabs are descended from the same source? Surely you realize that history predates thousands of years and actually, Jews lived side by side with nomadic tribes that were not Jews? Surely you know these are the ancestors of Arabs?

Read your bible. Just who do you think all of these tribes that interacted with Jews were, since they were not part of the 12 tribes of Israel?

When Moses was driven out of Egypt and resided with the Shepherds in the mountains and married one, those people were the forebears of today''s Arabs--surely you know this? You should also know that "Israel" is derived as out of the issue or seed of Abraham which came down through Isaac--but you should also remember that prior to Isaac another son was born to Abraham--Ishmael--and though the mom and Ishmael were driven from Abraham when Sarah got pregnant, God promised a great nation would arise from Ishmael--those are the Arabs--Waaaay before Mohammed and also from the loins of Abraham.

Every human that exists or has ever existed belongs to God and ONLY He gets to decide which ones he will retain and/or bless not humans, not Americans and not Israelis, and not Arabs. That being the case, God also insists vengeance belongs only to Him and Christ gives specific instructions on how enemies are to be handled.

From that perspective, so called Christians are already disobedient in their prosecution of war with Iraq and have much to answer for.According to God, the very hairs on our heads are numbered and we have neither the power or might to create even one hair--He then goes on to say, that because we cannot give life, we have not the right to take life--not even our own. Consider then, our choice to war based not even on defending ourselves, but on a whim.

Even in deciding we want to rescue Iraqis from Saddam, we have NO right to visit death and mayhem on a people or decide who must die for OUR personal idea of their freedom. We have much to answer for. Since you like the bible, perhaps you will read Revelations 18--=then you can decide which character is which and can read what will befall that "greatest of places, that did make merchants all over the earth rich, and did get drunk on the fornication of her wars"

the Bible does not endorse RELIGION, it endorses Jesus Christ, the Lord of Lords, and Savior for all of humanity. Jesus, who is God, spoke out against false "religions" and idols. Man has created "religion", not God, not Jesus Christ.
Posted by singinrick at 11:41 AM : Aug 18, 2007

On that point, we can agree. But I would also caution against blindly following or endorsing Israel. She has a history of sometimes actually going against God''s will and being roundly punished for it. To endorse her in times when she may also be just as wrong as others is to court trouble indeed.

As to the ownership of areas in Israel the sad fact is, we may state separation of Church and State but in trying to actually fulfill prophecy in 1948, we were engaging in Church and using the state to do so--hence the big mess we made. Scripture does say the Jews will return to Zion, but in putting our 2 cents in and facilitating the ''when'' does not mean this was supposed to happen in this way. It means we as humans, did not get out of the way for God''s will. The thing about a tool is that it does not get to decide when or how it will be used. We seem to try to inviegle ourselves into Good graces. My point is that sometimes, the direction that Israel may be going is over a cliff, as his chosen, some will be saved, (if that happens) but for the hangerson --we may not be so lucky.

jowand--I suggest you read your history. Deir Yassin...Deir Yassin...Deir Yassin. What does the Grand Mufti have to do with the murder by Jewish terrorists of the people of this village?

While ''5 nations'' may sound formidable to you, the problem lies in the ability of these nations to project power--to supply and reinforce significant resources against a better armed force. The best trained and equiped Arab force, the Jordanians, refrained from attacking Israeli occupied areas...King Abdullah was in secret negotiations with the Zionists--who wanted him to take over the Palestinian lands with the specific purpose of NOT ALLOWING THE CREATION OF A PALESTINIAN STATE!! They could not reach agreement. From the very beginning, the Zionists opposed and worked against the UN partition.

The Zionists have refused to allow or recognize a sovereign Palestinian state, yet demand that their state be recognized. Only a fool would accede to such a demand!

Israel has created its own problems by turning the people who lived on the land for nearly two thousand years out and confiscating their land.

You cannot set up camp amid people you proclaim to be your enemy and expect to exist. It is just a matter of time before the Arab people acquire the power to eject Israel. Unfortunately when they do it they may take the U.S. down with it since we are the reason Israel has been able to exist this long. Folks, stop quoting from the Bible. Look around you at the real world!

If the Associated Press could not print lies, distortions, errors and nonsense, it would "vanish from the pages of time". The AP once again distorts the implication while refusing to admit to the original error. Ahmadinejad was referring to the ''regime occupying Quds (Jerusalem) not to Israel. The AP tries to salvage part of the original lie by continuing to refer to Israel. The AP is one more reason why I haven''t paid, and will never pay, for a mainstream American newspaper again!
