The young actress ends a whirl of activity by entering rehab. Here's a glance at her year.

(CBS)  No official word from Lindsay Lohan or her representatives, but sources tell TV's "The Insider" that the actress has checked into a Utah rehab center for an intense treatment program expected to last a minimum of 30 days.

Lohan has reportedly entered the Cirque Lodge drug and alcohol rehab in Sundance, Utah. The Insider says that according to sources inside the facility, the 21-year-old actress checked into the facility over the weekend.

The prices at the rehab center overlooking the Sundance resort are said to be steep - reportedly a minimum of $30,000 per 30-day stay.

Lohan has already done two other stints in rehab this year.

In January she stayed at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles. Then after a wild Memorial Day weekend that ended in her arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, Lohan did a stint at Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility.

She was released from Promises on July 13, only to find herself arrested again 11 days later in Santa Monica for investigation of drunken driving and cocaine possession.

Lohan discussed her stay at Wonderland in an interview that Elle magazine says took place 36 hours before the Memorial Day weekend arrest.

"I was growing up and going out a lot, and I needed to have a balance," she said. "I was glad I went, because I needed to get away from everyone and I didn't know how to do that. And I learned a lot there. A bunch of my friends — I was with them last night — they're in AA for, like, years."

"MTV, and all the affiliates of it just need to be SUED to bankruptcy and shut down..."

GET THIS IN YOUR HEAD: It is not MTV's fault anymore than good wholesome values sprang forth from Leave it to Beaver. You talk about personal responsibility. Key in on that word PERSONAL. In everything there is a choice. As a parent it is YOUR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to teach right from wrong. That same cable that brings MTV in your home can be disconnected, that TV that plays MTV can be cut off. That's personal responsibility.

"Will this keep her out of the 23 Aug court date? I wonder.

I also wondered about this and would not be surprised.

She needs an environemntal change as the scum on the streets in Hollywood know where to find her so she can score, her friends enable her and the clubs gave her underage booze.

Her parents, especially Mom, have parental issues so it is up to Lindsay to take her life back as she is the one that took the first drink, took the first hit and more, so it is entirely up to her to be responsible.

Lindsay can spend all the money she wants on Rehab BUT if she doesn't get away from the environment and the friends that are feeding her addiction and also using it wont do a bit of good.

This chick's career is OVER - nobody wants to feel like they're enabling an addiction by paying to watch that person's films.

Hiding in rehab again.
Maybe if aoda counselors did more than spend all there time making excuses as to why it's NOT THERE fault rehab don't work and start looking for what might work, rehab would be more than just a place to "look good for the judge"!
JUST SAY NO TO REHAB!

"START BEING PARENTS, QUIT LETTING HOLLYWOOD REAR YOUR CHILDREN, IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TEACH THEM RIGHT FROM WRONG, NOT HOLLYWOOD'S.

I don't usually repeat, but these two said it so well - it starts with the parents and the way they bring the child up, and then goes on to PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Can you hear that, Lindsay and Britney and Paris and Nicole??? Do you understand that YOU are the ones who make such STUPID and potentially DEADLY choices - Who cares if the deadly is the consequences to YOU - just don't take someone else with you!!!

I think they ought to lock all these idiotic little twits up and throw the key away. Then we wouldn't have to read about them anymore, and they couldn't endanger anyone else with their selfish behavior.

Interesting that they put her into a rehab in Utah. Maybe they believe all that trash from Mitt Romney and think the Mormons can do something with her!

"She certainly has been through enough in her young life. You've really got to feel for her...

OK, you are an enabler - Lindsay may have some huge parental issues, but SHE CHOSE to drink under age and SHE CHOSE to take drugs so she is totally responsible for her actions, again, in spite of her mother and father.

If she is not at Betty Ford or Hazeldon, and only goes to boutique "rehabs", expect another quick relapse.
