TV Guide Reports That Flick Is Slated To Begin Shooting In Fall

(CBS) Could "Sex and the City" be coming to your city?
According to TV Guide the answer is yes. The TV magazine reports that a movie featuring the ladies from the hit HBO series will be coming to a theater near you.
The magazine says New Line Cinema is on the verge of closing a deal to distribute the pic with the cable channel.
Shooting for the flick is slated to begin in September, the magazine reports.
Series star Sarah Jessica Parker and her TV pals Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall are all said to be on board. TV Guide says an official announcement could come next week.Photos: Farewell To "Sex And The City"
There has been talk of a movie ever since the show ended in 2004. Though they've been asked, none of the series stars have confirmed the project is in the works.
The series, which premiered in 1998, is based on a Candace Bushnell novel.
