Hamas TV Mouse Killed By "Israeli"

In Kids Program, A Mickey Mouse Look-Alike Is Beaten To Death By Actor Posing As Israeli Official

Events, key players and a history of the world's most unstable region.

(AP)  A Mickey Mouse look-alike who preached Islamic domination on a Hamas-affiliated children's television program was beaten to death in the show's final episode Friday.

In the final skit, "Farfour" was killed by an actor posing as an Israeli official trying to buy Farfour's land. At one point, the mouse called the Israeli a "terrorist."

"Farfour was martyred while defending his land," said Sara, the teen presenter. He was killed "by the killers of children," she added.

The weekly show, featuring a giant black-and-white rodent with a high-pitched voice, had attracted worldwide attention because the character urged Palestinian children to fight Israel. It was broadcast on Hamas-affiliated Al Aqsa TV.

Station officials said Friday that Farfour was taken off the air to make room for new programs. Station manager Mohammed Bilal said he did not know what would be shown instead.

Israeli officials have denounced the program, "Tomorrow's Pioneers," as incendiary and outrageous. The program was also opposed by the state-run Palestinian Broadcasting Corp., which is controlled by Fatah, Hamas' rival.

If the story is newsworthy, let's see what old Farfour has to say and see if it is really objectionable. One thing I've learned in decades of news reading--never, ever trust AP.

Wow. Mental illness runs deep there huh? If you don't value your own life how do you expect people to respect you? At least he didn't take anybody out with this act of pure insanity. I'm sure his goal of spreading homicidal/suicidal ideology worked perfectly.

They make it so hard to see Israeli wrong doing when they do these things to themselves.

Maybe they can run some Farfour reruns on CNN for Prickofwhales. But I think we can guess what the message is, same as Pricko's, "kill the Jews." No big surprise there!

I would have a hard time trying to decide which side is shown to be most insane in this?

Hmmm....after careful review....I'd say the Israeli's come off looking slightly worse....but at least it's an accurate portrayal of Israel's attitude toward the Palestinians. Too many in the Israeli government have an idea that a 2 state system means palestinians being in the state of death and the Israelis in the state of complete control.

Pals are preparing the next generation for resistance. The way it goes, proceeding so slowly and backward, Israeli last minister TurtleFaceOlmert thinks that Pals will give up their rights to the land of their ancestors. Not so fast Olmert, not so fast. Don't forget that they (Pals) were the ones who scored the land while the Jewish Diaspora was scoring Europe, looking for support.

Don't forget that they are the ones of Jewish Descent who stayed and resisted that land invaders, for centuries. They love that land and doubt not a second of their love for it. They love it in a 'to-die-for' way.

Olmert should be aware of what is going on in the Pals homes. Preparing the second wave of Martyrs? Israelis should now pressure their politicians into finding and signing a real just political solution to the issue. This conflict has lasted too long and it's about time they settle this fricking peace deal, once for ever.

I don't know, I don't see Hamas, all of a sudden, saying that it's OK for Israel to exist. I think it will have to be a "real" civil war between them and Fatah, and Fatah will have to win, before they will reach a peace deal with Israel.

PS That stuff about wishing you were "Monica" seems a little "gay;" that's alright if you meant it that way(each to his own) but I just thought you might want to know.

-Firstly lets settle the ggayy thing, here. I happen to be a female. Too old to have the freshness of Monica, I guess.

-Second of all, look what I found on the aljazzeera site, this moment. Gives you an idea how politics are traded there. The Abbas, Hamas, and Jordanian King Abdullah II are behaving like sons to the Saudi King Abdullah. The later kinda snubbed Abbas for shaping up a new government without consulting with him, or rather without opening discussion channels with Hamas, and try to bridge the drift.

Abbas is not representing the majority of Palestinian People so its not legitimate, INSPITE of the blessing of less legitimate Bush and Olmert... So ! Fatah got to dismantle his emergency government and go bak to the table of negotiation...

That still takes you back to Hamas, and Hamas isn't going to accept Israels right to exist and again you have moderate Palestinians that want peace, there go "civil war."

AJ,
Finally it's the people who decides whether there is peace or not. Hamas did not exist but because of the arrogance of Israeli leaders and idiots in the AIPAC who own America, and who believe that by having the might and power of the USA military capacity they can crush anything, anyone. They think they can destroy all will and want of a people to resist... they have not learned the hard way Pals did. They had the silver spoon before they were born...

-When the Pals are gonna decide it's Fatah to drive the negotiations, well it'll be Fatah. Yet the later showed to be corrupt and of the same dough then Walking-Liar and cronies. Working for themself rather than for the Peopa'. Hamas is a position of negotiation the wise people has decided to take. When People wisdom sees it's time to take Fatah, well it'll make it happen. I have a feeling 2008 will be a great year for in the Middle-East. Kick this gang from the white house and work our decent way in the middle-east.

They should have finish off Farfour in the same way this Israeli soldier finished off a 13 year old Palestinian girl a couple of years ago: He shot her twice and when she was on the floor he emptied his machine gun in her guts.
Or how about have an Israeli sniper shooting through the window at Farfour and when Farfour leans to see if the sniper is gone he gets his brain blown off.
Or how about if Farfour is taken to jail and an Israeli soldier defecates in a plastic bag and then places the bag on top of Farfour's head until Farfour suffocates to death.
Or how about have Farfour try to cross an Israeli checkpoint with his mother and when the Israeli soldiers starts to bark orders at her Farfour tells them not to scream at his mother and gets shot dead by the Israeli soldiers right in front of her.
Or how about having Farfour picking olives from an olive tree in his farm and then gets shot dead by a Jewish settler from Chicago.
Or how about having Farfour and his entire family killed by a missile from an F-16.
Or how about have him crashed by a bulldozer as he tries to prevent it from demolishing his home.

Too bad you only present one side of the conflict. I guess none of your loved ones were killed in an Israeli cafe by a suicide bomber. Most Americans are smart enough to see through you. I lost a niece on 9/11 because of your comrades. Don't expect symphathy for your cause.

I wonder why they didn't end their Disney rip-off by turning it into a Hamas Reality TV show where they brainwash Farfour about the joys of martyrdom, then tie a suicide belt around the rodent's gut and him off to a Tel Aviv teen dance hall or a Haifa school bus or a Jerusalem pizzeria to blow him up.

Wait -- I know why they didn't! They were already using the suicide belt on the captured British journalist in Studio B!

Won't do any good. Too many people have bought into the idea that 9-11 happened in some sort of vacuum. They're still ignorant enough to believe Bush's bullsh*it lines that they "Hate us for our freedom" or "They want to make the whole world Muslim". Both are a load of garbage, but not enough people want to make the effort to look into WHY things happen. They're too afraid to find out that maybe, just maybe, some of the reasons people hate us might be justified. It disturbs the rosy image of us and our government that's been brainwashed into them. We are a great nation that I love, but man we sure as hell have seriously fu*cked some other people in the past (and still are) and sometimes it bites us in the as*s.

tribe--That cheering you saw on 9-11 from Palestinians, on CNN was from the files of another event.

Things to remember from the fall of 2001:
1) the cheering Israelis from the moving company taking pictures of themselves with the burning WTC towers as a backdrop.

2)The Israelis captured in the van with explosive residues. The driver who said 'We are not your problem, the Palestinians are your problem, your problem is our problem.'

3)The warning that came in to the Israeli pager company before the attack in New York--Israeli intelligence was notified first then the FBI.

4) The Mossad colonel and his sidekick captured by a delegation of sugar workers in the Mexican Parliament buildiing with bombs, automatic weapons and grenades. They were whisked out of the county by Mexico's Zionist attorney general.

5) Let's not forget about the Carl Cameron special on FOX that aired one time and was then deep-sixed from the archives about the dozens of Israeli agents captured, some posing as art students trying to penetrate DEA and other government offices and homes of high level officials.

6)Israeli spying on US government and local agencies through the Israeli corporation Amdocs that tipped drug dealers in LA off to the moves of US law enforcement.

"That cheering you saw on 9-11 from Palestinians, on CNN was from the files of another event."

- Posted by Prinzowhales

This is a lie. The cheering crowds of Palestinian Arabs dancing and passing out candy to their children in celebration of the 9-11 attacks were filmed, taped, photographed and documented by dozens of news services, not just CNN. The CNN footage was NOT of "a file of some other event", and Prinzowhales is well aware of this.

It is a common tactic of supporters of Islamic Jihad and global terrorism to use the Internet to completely twist the facts -- to deny the actual events and even substitute the names of the perpetrators with those of their victims -- with the intention of spreading confusion and deceit.

Several of the persistent posters on these CBSNews comment boards use this method to foment anger against people who embrace freedom, democracy and a desire for peace, and they do it with the intent of spreading their crude anti-Semitism, bigotry and hatred.

Switching Sides: Inside The Enemy Camp

But then in 2000, well before his arrest, something happened which would make Abas question everything he believed in: a fatwa, a religious edict, was issued by Osama bin Laden.

"It should be understood that killing Americans and Jews anywhere found are the highest act of worship and the highest form of good deeds in the eyes of Allah," Simon quotes bin Laden.

Abas and his fellow commanders were ordered to read the fatwa to their men and make sure they carried it out. The others obeyed, but Abas refused. It was his moment of truth. He firmly believed that jihad was to be fought only on the battlefield in defense of Islam; he had always been taught that the killing of civilians had nothing to do with holy war and that it was forbidden.

The fatwa justified killing non-Muslim civilians everywhere.

And based on the fervor of the man in front of me at Costco who was purchasing his business items (mostly cigarettes) along with many expensive alcoholic beverages for personal consumption, and the anger he displayed towards the clerk when the price of the cigarettes had risen by $1.00 per carton, and you multiply this 1,000 fold to every gas station in Southern California - one asks Homeland Security: How can they allow these Arabs to deal gasoline, which they can sabotage with other chemicals to a vast population and thus destroy most of Southern California? wolf563--Thankyou for bringing the fact that CNN's footage was indeed of events in Palestine on 9-11. I withdraw that charge. The elements pertaining to the cheering and dancing Israelis, however, stand as posted. Why would you imagine that it is 'anti-semitic' to point out the vicious anti-American activities of these Israeli agents on 9-11? Just where are your loyalties?--Don't answer...obviously with the Zionists first and with America as a matter of convenience.

HAMAS MICKEY MOUSE SAYS
Islamic rule will benefit Christians and Jews
by Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook - May 14, 2007
The force behind Hamas TV%u2019s controversial Mickey Mouse clone said today that his children%u2019s television program will continue to promote worldwide Islamic supremacy, for everyone's benefit, including Christians and Jews.

In a long interview on Hamas TV, Hazim Al-Sha%u2019arawi, Deputy Director of Al-Aqsa TV and one of the creators of the Hamas children%u2019s TV show Tomorrow%u2019s Pioneers, said that using the program to promote Islamic rule over other religions is actually promoting %u201Cjustice, goodness and world love.%u201D

Al-Aqsa TV and the Palestinian Authority have been under fire since PMW reported last week that Tomorrow%u2019s Pioneers was using a character named Farfur, a knockoff of Disney%u2019s Mickey Mouse character, to convey messages about Islamic supremacy as well as hatred of Jews, Israel and the U.S. Despite public statements by PA Minister of Information Mustafa Barghouti that the show would be taken off the air until it could be reviewed and revised, a new episode of the program %u2013 featuring Al-Sha%u2019arawi as one of the hosts %u2013 ran Friday.
