(CBS)  TV's Nancy Grace revealed to the New York Post that she was secretly married in April and is expecting twins in January.

"I'm finally not keeping it a secret anymore," she told the newspaper.

Grace, 47, said she will officially make the announcement tonight on her Headline News show, "Nancy Grace," but says she hasn't told CNN yet (she thinks her bosses will be "thrilled" when they hear the news).

Grace wed David Linch, an Atlanta investment banker who she has known since their days at Mercer College in the late 1970s, the Post said.

"We've been in touch all these years and a lot of time we were separated by geography and time," she says. "It was a spur-of-the-moment decision to get married. I told my family only two days before (the wedding).

"I never thought it would happen like this," she says. "I thought 'mother' and 'wife' was just not part of God's plan for me.

"This is such a blessing, and I just can't believe that, at my age, I would find such happiness."

The newspaper reports that Grace declined to say whether she'd had fertility treatments in order to become pregnant.

"But you tell women out there that there is hope," she said.

She left her post at Court TV last month after 10 years. "I knew something had to go, and that (something) was Court TV," she said. "I was firm that I wanted out of my option, but I didn't reveal that I was carrying twins."

Grace became a strong advocate for victims through the most tragic of circumstances: She was in college when her fiance Keith Griffin was murdered in 1980.

"He was gunned down," Grace told Sunday Morning correspondent Thalia Assuras. "He was shot five times in the face, the neck and the back. The guy took a wallet. I think it had about $35 in it. And that was the whole case."

It was that "senseless act of violence" that forever altered Grace's perspective. She abandoned her plan to become an English professor. She went to law school instead.

Congratulations Nancy.
Like you, I have just found out I am pregnant. I am 41 and will be 42 when my baby arrives in Feb. 2008.
My career came 1st.
I met a wonderful man in 2003. We married in 2004.
We have been trying to conceive since 2004. We had decided it wasn't meant for us to be parents.
Then it happened.
So we may be a bit older when our kids graduate.
So what.
We may be the oldest parent at the school but we're still gonna look good cause we can afford to look good!
The life expectancy for us is so much greater then it used to be.
I am glad I waited. Things couldn't be more perfect for me in my life.
Blessings to you, the babies and you're new husband.

This is great news ......for viewers! Does this mean we won't have to listen to her annoying voice or see her being obnoxious on TV for a while? I hope so .....and by the way, the twins have my deepest sympathy!

Do you have anything to say about Nancy Grace's marriage and forthcoming birth of twins? Or are you just "down" on the military?

What's your problem? You couldn't get in? Or you lack the spine?

Hmmmmm. Secretly married. Wonder what the "dis-grace" (no pun intended) was that she thought it had to be kept secret?

Hope her "twins" don't grow up and do what she does. Can you imagine TWO people who look and act like Grace doing a show like court TV? Wow! They would find all their subject "guilty" without a trial, and then they would hang 'em in the town square. LOL!!!

It's amazing to see how many people idolize people like Grace. Just demonstrates the number of sheep who can't think for themselves. And if you criticize people like Grace? Whoa!! You're demonized, castigated, despised, called childish names...

In the grand scheme of things Grace is trivial, and yet the sheep get so passionate about it.

But then she does have the power to destroy lives; and the sheep idolize that kind of power.

I never said nor implied that I think I am the reason for all the things that are "right" with the world. Nor would I have the audacity to think that. I suppose even in Canada you can "dispise" whomever you wish to dispise.

However, as your two statement above show, you are contradicting yourself. You don't know what you believe.

"Vehemence" implies intense feeling. I have no intense feelings about Grace. I simply don't like her and don't think she should be convicting people on "court TV" before they've had their day in a real court. Unfortunately people like Grace have a lot of influence over people who can't seem to think for themselves.

If you, or anyone else dispises me for that, tough ***** paddy.

There you go, making assumptions. You may be "bold and blunt" but you are pointless and lacking content. Just like Grace...

What I "dispise" are people like you, who think they are the reason for all the things that are "right" with the world.

And I do not think that ALL people who dislike Nancy Grace are wimps. Just the ones who are so vehemently against her.

"I find Nancy Grace a rude, abrasive, arrogant person who thinks she is God! I jumped for joy when she announced she was leaving Court TV! No longer would this creature be able to insult my intelligence every afternoon with her holier-than-thou attitude. I hope the woman's family wins their law suit against her! It's time people like Grace learned you can't verbally abuse people on television and get away with it." Posted by grumpas at 09:20 AM : Jun 27, 2007

The old woman is obviously having Chemical Babies; that is why she couldn't say that her eggs were healthy and not cracked. LOL

I really am happy for her, but I just hope she knows how hard its going to be, and maybe this will be a wake up call and tell her that
--if you have postpartum depression, you can get a little wacky without the proper care.
--if you have more than 1 kid, you can easily get side-tracked, and they can do anything without you knowing.

so hopefully she will start being more caring and understanding to other mothers out there

She'll be almost be 70 when the twins graduate from high school. Hope she stays in shape. or those kids will have to fight their way through school--continually having to field questions about their "grandmother" being their mom.

I think it's great that Nancy Grace finally found happiness but really not smart to create children at "nearly" 50 years old! Celebs think absolutely nothing about the children they leave behind but only of themselves. Old parents die of old age before their kids even finish college. Kids don't even appriciate their parents until they are older. Not one of your smarter moves Nancy. In fact, if this was a story on your show, you would probable say "how ridiculous to create kids when your life is "more" than half over". Take your own advise but congrats on the marriage, that wasn't selfish.

It's obvious all the negative comments are from the people commiting crime and from their families that are supporting them. I pray you never stop advocating for victims the ones who live by the rules of this country. We need more people like you. As for motherhood, you will be a wonderful mother. Best of luck to both you and your husband.

People in the military crack me up. Beside the fact that most of you are only there because you have no other options in life, you're there to fight the president's *** contests with other world leaders. The whole "I'm there defending your rights" thing is bull. Keep telling yourself whatever you need to to feel better, buddy!

This story isn't about whether or not you agree with or like the way Nancy Grace covers stories; it's about a woman who thought the chance for marriage and motherhood had passed her by but found otherwise.

The fact that you have to keep repeating "my 28 years", tells me that you are very full of yourself. Your "28 years" has nothing to do with what we are talking about. You are full of c-r-a-p. Posted by erasmus6 at 01:51 AM : Jun 27, 2007

Uh huh! Got your number. Anyone who disagrees with you is either "spineless" or "full of *****." Or a "wimp." Your name calling is childish. Just another typical attack dog. And you have to cross the border to do that. If you dispise our country so much why don't you stay on your own side of the line?

ROFLMMFAO!!!
