(CBS) It looks like Rosie O'Donnell's next gig won't be on "Price Is Right." In a video message on her blog Sunday O'Donnell said it looked like a deal with the game show "ain't gonna happen."
In the video blog, O'Donnell responded to questions fans and foes wrote to her on her blog. One writer asked, why is it such a problem that the "Price Is Right" shoots in L.A.?
"Well, here's the thing, I don't really need a job," O'Donnell said. "I'm in a weird position. I don't need the money. I know you're not allowed to talk about money in America but I'm just saying I don't so, to get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them across the country so that I can have a fantasy childhood indulgent job, it just doesn't seem fair, they all are in school, they have friends, we love their school, our community our house, our life, our home."

O'Donnell had been mentioned as one of the successors to recently retired host Bob Barker. "The Early Show's" Dave Price and "Dancing With The Stars" alum John O'Hurley are some of the other names that have been mentioned for the job.
