(CBS/AP)  Prince William and former girlfriend Kate Middleton have resumed their relationship, British newspapers reported Sunday.

The young couple, who announced in April they had split, attended a party at an army barracks together earlier this month, newspapers claimed.

William, 25, has also invited Middleton to attend a memorial concert to his late mother, Princess Diana, to be held at London's Wembley Stadium next Sunday, the Mail on Sunday reported.

A royal spokeswoman wouldn't comment, says CBS News correspondent Larry Miller, saying William's private life is … private.

Britain's News of The World tabloid claimed the couple had been on a string of low-key dates since their April split.

William, second in line to the British throne and a second lieutenant in the country's army, celebrated his 25th birthday on Thursday and gained access to part of the inheritance left him by his mother.

they are a beautiful young couple - if it's meant to be, it'll happen.

Since it appears that William and Kate are dating again, let's hope that the media will leave them alone for a change. Look at what the media did to Diana and Charles!! And, look what happened when the media couldn't leave Diana alone!! If William and Kate are meant to be together, then so be it. But, for now, LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!

If anyone can remember, the Crown Prince of Denmark married a commoner from Australia and they now have two children. The media does not harass them the way they do the royals of England. Let William and Kate live their own lives and if they are meant to be together for ever, then so be it.

I'm sure William is more sensitive than most about what buzz would be generated by him being seen with Kate again. I doubt it's "just a friendship;" they probably "split up" in order to get the press off their back and work things out privately.

Good for them if this is so and they're that mature. England could use a drama-free relationship for once.

William should marry Kate. Now a days who cares if the person has any "royal" blood line. The monarchy is going out of style, and besides her family owns a business. When the royals are out of a job Wills can work for his in laws.
He didn't dump her, she told him to take a hike first!!!
They are a couple of good kids really.

Yes I have a life, however I choose to follow how they are as I was over there for the whole thing-weddings, births, divorces etc.

I like the Royals, especially William & Harry, so if you aren't a fan, why bother with this article? Unless you're a loser with nothing better to do than comment on a subject you don't care about - or you're jealous and feel a need to vent (I'm sure you wouldn't be so negative if you were born into wealth)...
Anyway, William should take his time getting married and be sure the woman is really the one he wants. I agree w/ the comment about his father - don't f**k up somebody's life if she's not the love in your heart.
Hopefully the boys have more of their mother's nature, sense, & heart...

These jerks were literally handed life on a silver platter and I can't believe there are people so in need of a life they have to follow the 'royals'.

I highly doubt it, since the tabloid paper, Daily Mail in particular run with a rumor that was posted on an open Royal Forum. William have always remained friendly with his ex-girlfriends and even parties with them. So, I wouldn't put much stock in dating a woman he so publically dumbed.
