Sorry Bubba, It's Celine
(US News)
Her husband was betting on Smashmouth's "I'm a Believer," but the Hillary Clinton for President Campaign has chosen Celine Dion's "You and I" as its campaign theme song.
You know the one:
High above the mountains, far across the sea / I can hear your voice calling out to me / Brighter than the sun and darker than the night / I can see your love shining like a light / And on and on this earth spins like a carousel / If I could travel across the world / The secrets I would tell
Washington Whispers' Paul Bedard tells us he's anticipating the reaction: Celine lovers will dig it and everybody else will go screaming for the doors.
And don't even get the Hillary haters going. Imagine what they'll say when they find out Dion is Canadian.
