Look No. 3: One-piece suits
Onda de Mar ($175)
Peters notes that the additional coverage from a one-piece suit does not mean less impact — one-piece suits can be flattering yet sexy. Artistic Floral in burnt red will look fabulous with a tan complexion, and the beaded detail even adds more fun and flair. The higher cut elongates the body and support at the bust makes this ideal for a full spectrum of beach activities.

Peters says this is perfect for surfer girls and heart-pumping summer sports. Metallic worked back in with Rhinestone rocker skull detail. You can wear the bikini top while lounging on the beach and toss on the rashguard to surf the waves.
Shield sunglasses from Yves St. Laurent coordinate completely with this sporty look.

what the ?!? Obviously, you didn't grow up in a beach town.
Really though, I've been around a few ummm decades and bathing suits just haven't changed that much. I do think the shoes are more fun. But I'm having a hard time getting past the prices. Anyone else think paying $150 for a beach towel is a bit ridiculous? I wonder what the mark up is on the accessories listed....I'd instantly feel raped if I paid that much. - Reply to this comment
- If you look good, do it. If you don't look good, for gosh sakes, don't do it.
