(CBS)  If you went out on Memorial Day in last year's swimsuit and it didn't work for you, it's not too late to go shopping.

The editors of InStyle magazine have found the best new bathing suits and beach accessories, everything from the best beach towel to the must-have summer beach hat!

InStyle Market Director Toby Tucker Peters brought several to The Early Show Tuesday.

Look No. 1: Animal Print

Victoria's Secret (top $48; bottom $38)

It's a giraffe print, which Peters says is the most subtle of the animal prints and a great way to go bold on the beach. Glam Gold rings at the hips and bust add sex appeal.

Golden leather and hemp tote: Rue des Nanettes ($395); vivre.com

Speaking of metallics: Also included are some fantastic gold espadrille slides. They're easy to slip on and super comfortable, yet add an edge with the sparkle. Gold espadrille slides - Nine West - www.ninewest.com

Raffia Hat to help shade you in the sun: Hat Attack ($75), www.hatattack.com

Wraparound Sunglasses: Dior ($280); Available at Nordstrom. They're "functional but gorgeous," says Peters

Gold Hoops: Slane and Slane

Look No. 2: Bold Printed Suit

Seafolly (top $54; bottom $50)

It's a fun print, and Peters says you shouldn't shy away from a pattern on a swimsuit. The amount of fabric used is smaller, so the print can be stronger than what you would wear on clothing.

This cut helps maximize a smaller bust and trim a long torso. The funky pattern distracts from a petite chest, and bandeau tops shorten the length of the body.

Straw Hat: Roberta Freymann ($65); 212-772-7200

Clear tote bag with floral print: Kate Spade and Hugo Guinness collaboration tote ($395 suggested retail); Available at Kate Spade stores: 800-519-3778

Lucite Bangles are a must, says Peters: RJ Graziano (from $35); 212-685-1248

Rope Espadrille Wedge: Kate Spade ($275 suggested retail); Available at Kate Spade stores, 800-519-3778

Sunglasses: Dita (Pretender $175): Shopbop: www.shopbop.com

Diane Von Furstenberg towel: $150; Shopbop: www.shopbop.com

Digital camcorder: DXG ($150); www.walmart.com

If you look good, do it. If you don't look good, for gosh sakes, don't do it.

what the ?!? Obviously, you didn't grow up in a beach town.

Really though, I've been around a few ummm decades and bathing suits just haven't changed that much. I do think the shoes are more fun. But I'm having a hard time getting past the prices. Anyone else think paying $150 for a beach towel is a bit ridiculous? I wonder what the mark up is on the accessories listed....I'd instantly feel raped if I paid that much.
