Neil Abercrombie Menaces Pedestrian

(The Politico)  The license plate said "Aloha" but there was nothing friendly about a Chrysler New Yorker with Rep. Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii) behind the wheel Monday night.

Speeding up to the Capitol building en route to an evening vote, Abercrombie had no patience for a middle-aged female pedestrian who had ventured into the crosswalk at the New Jersey Avenue security checkpoint.  He pounded on the horn, forcing the bewildered ped to stop, then navigated the aging sedan swiftly around her, leaving ped and surrounding Capitol Police officers in shock.

The Crypt, who witnessed the whole thing, wonders whether the officers would have tolerated this petulant behavior from a staffer??
