Richie was charged with DUI in February. Police say she was under the influence of booze and an unspecified drug when they stopped her last year.
Richie told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show in Los Angeles that she understands she has to "take responsibility" and "deal with whatever consequences" come her way.
Richie also denied a report that she'd been in rehab recently.
She says the rumor started because she hadn't been seen in a few weeks. Richie says she was touring with boyfriend Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.

- Poor baby - get a little alcohol AND drugs in your system and then jump behind the wheel and drive the WRONG WAY, and see how they do you? Boo-hoo, you might have to serve some jail time (with lots of days off for good behavior if you just SHOW UP AT YOUR COURT HEARING) in a segregated part of the jail so you don't have to rub shoulders with the common people.
Did the people you have to read things to you like your buddy not tell you that this might happen? I will cry for you, poor little Miss Richie and count the days until you are released (NOT) - Reply to this comment

- Have you ever noticed that some of these celebs use the law to keep thier name active, it is sad to say but i do truley believe they want to get busted for something just to promote a movie, cd, book or television show, they know that most will forgive them and go see or purchase this stuff. It is DAMM well time they do go to jail. Some of these folks think rehab consist of 3 weeks and a wakeup ,sentence them to the longest rehab possiabe if thats not finished then its the gray bar hotel for them.
