Lohan Going Back To Rehab, Magazine Says
(CBS/AP)
Lindsay Lohan is heading back to rehab for the second time this year — just days after her DUI arrest, according to In Touch magazine.
The troubled young star recently completed a 30-day stint in Wonderland rehab facility in Los Angeles and is now going to Promises in Malibu, In Touch reported. Promises is the same place where singer Britney Spears sought treatment after shaving her head.
For Lohan, 20, it was a wild holiday weekend even by her own standards. Saturday morning before dawn Lohan crashed her Mercedes on Sunset Boulevard. She fled the scene, but was quickly arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Cocaine was also found after the accident.
Late Sunday night, according to In Touch magazine, Lohan continued to party at a Hollywood nightclub. On Monday morning, shocking photos surfaced of the "Georgia Rule" star passed out in a friend's car.
The photos show Lohan, wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, with her mouth open and her eyes shut, apparently asleep. Another photo shows her kneeling on the ground, her back to the camera, apparently before getting into the vehicle.
Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lohan's publicist, didn't return repeated phone calls and e-mail messages from The Associated Press seeking comment.
Lohan's estranged father says he wants to talk with his movie star daughter. The actress hasn't spoken with her father, Michael, in years, but he says he wants her to "just get in touch" with him so they can get their relationship back on track.
He says "she's not just the goose that laid the golden egg, she's a child, a human being, and people just have the wrong motives and intentions."
Michael Lohan is a recovering alcoholic. He served time behind bars for assault.

"Ms. Lohan was driving westbound on Sunset Blvd. when she lost control of her vehicle," Beverly Hills Police Department Lt. Mitch McCann told CBS News correspondent Meg Oliver. "There was some additional contraband found in the vehicle."

Web site X17online.com posted the photos on Monday, which it said were taken early that morning at a gas station after the 20-year-old actress left the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, Calif., with a girlfriend.
