Neither, apparently.
"I've always said Rosie is very self-destructive," Trump said Thursday in Chicago. "... As far as Elisabeth Hasselbeck, I've always said she's probably the dumbest person on television, but when she called me ... obnoxious, she was probably right."
The argument Wednesday included O'Donnell calling Hasselbeck "cowardly" for not defending her when media outlets suggested that she'd called U.S. troops "terrorists" during a previous debate.
"What you did was not defend me. ... I asked you if you believed what the Republican pundits were saying — you said nothing, and that's cowardly," O'Donnell said.
Hasselbeck responded: "Do not call me a coward, because No. 1, I sit here every single day, open my heart and tell people what I believe."Photos: The Famous And Their Feuds

"Rosie wears thin. Rosie will go on to another show, and like her first show, it'll fail," he said.

His reality show, "The Apprentice," was left off NBC's 2007-2008 prime-time schedule.

See all 21 CommentsToo bad ABC has no guts.
Trump - dropfuckingdead.
Rosie's deep humanitarian morality, drives her
vehement opposition to the war. You may see the
war differently, but to say she has no moral
beliefs is ridiculous. Likewise Cindy Sheehan,
is driven by her own deep sense of morality.
Morality is a different animal than Christianity,
and we live in a beliefs-plural, culture-plural
society. Join the 21st Century. Soon.
You know, that may be the smartest thing Mr. Trump ever said.
Elizabeth Hasselbeck is a bleached blonde bubble head who appears to be on this show only to be cute and ditsy and pull in the really young women veiwers - Joy and Barbara are a little long in the tooth and ABC needs to capture different audience demographics besides older women.
Rosie was a breath of fresh air in a show that has grown increasingly stale and irrelevant as the years have gone past. Now she is gone, and they have lost me as a "Viewer" and probably a lot more smart women too, who are tired of "politically correct and BORING".
Long live Rosie!!!
Elisabeth is a fool, but Rosie's a bigger fool. (No pun intended.)
There are so many dumb people on television, it's hard to award that prize.
Here's what he said:
%u201COn this one I think Rosie should win, but Rosie is not much herself. I think anybody that%u2019s against the war in Iraq is the winner of the fight, because to justify the war in Iraq %u2014 only an imbecile could do that," he told "Extra."
THAT'S THE REAL NEWS STORY. AND I COPIED IT FROM FOXNEWS! WHAT'S WITH THE SMOKESCREEN, AP?

What likely happened is; Walters wanted a new
stunt for May sweeps, the producer knows Liza is
hurt and angry over the season of mistreatment by
Rosie, they know she is gone in 3 weeks anyway,
so they target her. Producer goes to Liza H and
says "on your first remarks of the segment,
confront Rosie on her recent implication that
U.S. troops are the terrorists"
(btw, that is not what she was saying. Again,
she speaks badly. It was a rhetorical comment
about BushCo).
"Once you start in and she predictably reacts
defensively, let it get as contentious as you
want. We'll extend the segment and split the
screen ala Jerry Springer. Baba will step in
tomorrow claiming Rosie is off for partner's
birthday (is in fact what happened), declare
peace, but behind the scenes will chase Rosie
off early for being too acrimonious"
So there was a real aspect to the disagreement,
and also a staged element to how it was aired
in my opinion. Liza is wrong to have swallowed
up all the R propaganda she swallows, but Rosie
had this coming to her.
Rosie is gone, almost certainly (today's & Monday's
shows are previously taped). She strongly
implied it on her blog yesterday, and Baba
WaWa's denials of any staging yesterday of
the Wednesday argument, was about as credible
as when she said she had no say in Rosie's
contract talks - where they just couldn't get
past the sticking point that ABC wanted her
3 years and Rosie said no, only 1. Sure.
If you bought that, you also bought that there
was no supression of "no-WMD" intelligence so
Bush could go into Iraq, and you bought that
Ray Nagin was at fault for the Katrina disaster.
Here is what appears to have really happened;
- Rosie, while correct on her stances, cannot
make her case without bullying others. She has
a complete void of tact and personally attacks
those who disagree. That makes her counter-
productive to her causes, and she needs to
work those causes with somebody else as the
spokesperson. Obviously.
- Rosie has personally denigrated Liza H. all year,
calling her positions ignorant, etc. Liza has
pretty much been a doormat for it prior to
Wednesday. She'd obviously had enough.
- You can tell from Rosie's blog that she
was blindsided by the split screen, and very
upset over the producers doing that.

Elizabeth was right about one thing, though, Donald Trump is obnoxious.
