(CBS/AP) Sanjaya Makalar made another stop on his post "Idol" media tour when he visited Nickelodeon's "ME:TV" set for a sliming in New York on Monday.
Early on Tuesday morning, Malakar told Matt Lauer about his experience on the reality show.
Remember the little blonde girl who was so excited to see Sanjaya that she cried during his entire performance on "Idol?" She scared him.
Malakar said on NBC's "Today" show that he was "kind of scared" because he had no idea he "could have that kind of effect on someone."
There will be plenty of crying girls at the "Idol" tour this summer. After that, Malakar says he wants to go to college and then get into all forms of entertainment because he says he's not just a singer, he's "an entertainer."Photos: Sanjaya Malakar
Malakar read out the top 10 list on the "Late Show with David Letterman" and appeared on "Live With Regis And Kelly" on Monday.
Over the weekend he was People magazine's guest at the White House correspondents' dinner in Washington, D.C.
