To clarify and correct two statements the author made in the article: Following Obama's call to empower the voters to use their networks, avatar Cubsfan Pugilist created the Second Life group Obama for President. Liam Kanno, a 3 D designer created the unofficial HQ for the members. He did not start the campaign nor is its director. Within the grass roots movement in SL the Obama HQ is very careful in its presentation, and only has content taken directly from the official BarckObama.com website, so as not to misrepresent the candidate.
On a separate but personal note I do not, nor would I ever represent myself as %u201Ca voluptuous blond%u201D in real life or second life. You must be confusing me with someone else. My avatar is conservative as I am in real life. The only good thing in Second Life is that the avatars do not come with middle age wrinkles.

Thanks for a most interesting article.
