More Wedding Bells For Giuliani's Wife

By
Dan Collins
(CBS)  The wife of GOP presidential frontrunner Rudy Giuliani has been married three times, New York newspapers reported.

Judith Nathan previously had spoken of two marriages. She has now confirmed a third.

"Something I will share with you is that ... Rudy and I have both been married three times," Nathan, 52, told the New York Post.

In her first, previously undisclosed marriage, Nathan, then Judith Stish and a 20-year-old, married Jeffrey Ross in Las Vegas in 1974. The marriage ended in divorce in 1979.

Five days after the divorce, she married Bruce Nathan, a wallpaper salesman. That marriage ended in a bitter divorce in the early 1990s.

Giuliani, 62, married Nathan following a bitter divorce from his second wife, Donna Hanover, in 2000. Nathan said Giuliani had known of her first marriage early on in their relationship.

Nathan has assumed an important role in Giuliani's thriving presidential campaign, but a Giuliani strategist said her disclosure would not damage Giuliani's candidacy.

"It has no political significance and is something that all the people close to her knew," the strategist told the New York Daily News.

But many political observers say Giuliani's marital track record is a negative, especially among Christian conservatives.

"I guess birds of a feather do flock together," University of Virginia political science Prof. Larry Sabato told the Daily News. "This is right off of Match.com."

I think you mean "Bible Thumping" -not "Bible beating". Bible thumpers are just exercising the right of free speech-they should be able to do so without persecution, and redicule. Just goes to show how narrow-minded liberals are... Thereby making them hypocrites.

As long as they don't violate my right not to have to hear their sh*it. Besides these days the thumpers have gone way beyond just thumping and are trying to force their fairy tales and fables onto everyone else, so they're bible beaters to me. They beat the bible for quotes to twist and take out of context just to push their own racism, prejudice, hatred, intolerance, ignorance and bigotry on normal people.

No group spreading falsehoods and mischief making should be allowed parade their destructive, idiotic and ignorance-inducing ideologies unchallenged in any society.

Bible thumpers should be doing their thumping in the privacy of their own home to THEIR FAMILIES alone.
Thank the stars we are not allowing them in schools to waste more children's minds.

"Who cares? I'm a dyed in the wool liberal and I could care less. Of course that might be because I'm on my 3rd marriage and so is my wife.

Would that be a real 'wife', as in a female? LOL
Anyway, it is still better to keep changing females than surrendering to the deviant urges.

Rudy is the worst of the Republicans.

At a personal level most people would not even want to spend time around him. Certainly not any of his (previous) family.

As a leader his obnoxious, vindictive, and self-centered style will get tired very quickly with the American people -- Republicans included.

How about William Weld? Although I lean towards the Democrats, and think that a change of party is very important at this point to fight corruption -- Weld seems to be an honest and effective leader.

Besides Rudy doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell of making it through the primaries (esp in the bible-beating south) and will never sit in the Oval Office as anything other then a visitor.

There are sects of Christianity that say if you divorce, and remarry, then you've commited adultery. Some go so far as to say that if you have children after remarrying, than tour children are bas tards. I don't believe that. I'm a Christian, and it really makes me anry that other Christians will look at the martial history, and use that as the basis of who they'll vote for. What does that have to do with being president?
