Living Room ... LIVE! -- Battle of the BandsTired of listening to the same old, same old? Ready for some cutting edge, breath-of-fresh-air music that will stay with you all day?

Welcome to the latest edition of Living Room ... LIVE!

It's hard to get started in the music business. But The Early Show is out to change all that. Talented groups from all over the country have been submitting tapes to us in the hope that they'll be chosen to have their taped performance broadcast on our show and added to our Web site.

Every week, Adam and the Egos introduce viewers to the three latest bands in the competition (We post the videos of Adam and the guys on this page, in the column on the right). Then, we ask you to pick, via an online vote on CBSNews.com, from among the three bands for that week. Over the course of 12 weeks, viewers will narrow the list to the final three, then vote on them to name America's favorite new band. The ultimate band will be invited to perform on The Early Show the week of Sept. 24 -- the kind of television and Internet exposure bands dream about (Just ask Crooked X about that)!
