(CBS/AP)  The Aspen Ski Patrol had to come to the rescue of actors Rob Morrow, Chad Lowe and Fisher Stevens when they got lost in snow and fog and ended up out of bounds.

"We're all good skiers," said Morrow, star of "Numb3rs." But he admitted on Saturday they didn't know the mountain. "We were going every which way."

They ended up with another group of lost skiers, who had called for help on their cell phone. All were in an area closed to skiing.

The patrollers decided to lead the pack to the bottom of the mountain, a three-hour trip through heavy snow, streams, and thick forest.

"It ended up being great because it was a good adventure," said Morrow, who previously starred in "Northern Exposure." The patrollers had plenty of food and once the group felt safe they enjoyed the experience.

Lowe's girlfriend, producer Kim Painter, was also with the group on Saturday, according to The Aspen Times. Lowe stars on hit Fox series "24."
