The Amazing Race
Eric And Danielle win the all-star competition in a tight last leg of the race.
The couple won three legs in a row and it seemed like they owned "The Amazing Race: All-Stars" until they lost to Charla and Mirna.
The kiss of death was Rob's misspelling of Philippines on a placard by adding an extra L and omitting a P.
"He wrote out Philippines but that doesn't mean it's his fault," Amber told The Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith. "That challenge was all him. I can't blame him. He was definitely in charge for that one."
"I messed up," Rob said. "We had just a bunch of things that snowballed in that leg that led to our downfall. You know, that's the way the race is. One little thing can set you up."
Rob and Amber are known for being tough, conniving competitors and they seemed confident that they would take home the $1 million prize.

"We felt good, we really did. I wouldn't say overconfident," Rob said. "We've been doing this a while, we know how to play it up a little bit. So there was a little of that going on, I think."
"You can't help to be optimistic. You can't help to be really excited about every single leg. When you finish first, you're going to be excited," Amber said. "You're going to feel very highly of yourself."
Rob and Amber lied to Mirna and Charla about calling a cab and hoped in a taxi meant for them. Later, Rob and Amber gave Mirna and Charla bad directions to the clue-box. Despite their trickery, the newlyweds were still unable to beat the cousins.
"If they don't know what's coming, it's their own fault," Amber said. "There isn't anywhere in the rules that says you can't lie. They're silly to listen to us. Haven't they watched any show we've been on before? You don't trust Amber and Rob."
"Mirna tried to play the martyr up more than a little bit," Rob said.
Even though they lost, Rob and Amber said don't feel badly for them. After all, they spent three weeks in Acapulco.
The couple said that a family is in the near future and they are working on a couple other things they cannot talk about.
"Things are going well," Amber said. "We're coming up on our two-year anniversary. It's been wonderful. We're living in Florida, enjoying it. Every day gets better and better."

sneaky little pretty faces....let this be a lesson to the culture.
seadog66, lets hope you are not in charge of the culture. just because someone "seems" like a winner does NOT mean they really are a real winner.
this has NOTHING to do with being "jealous".
it has to do with people acting like a "lous".
Maybe Rob will get a real job now!
I find myself rooting for the beauty queens, Myrna & Charla, the parents, and pretty much all of the teams other than Rob and Amber. I was sad to see them win the first 3 legs and was concerned that the contest would be negated by their constant winning. Hmmm... could they have lost on purpose?
The reason people didn't want them to win were clearly apparent last night. ARROGANCE,LYING,SMUG,HIGHLY OVERCONFIDENT,DEMEANING and all with an elitist attitude to boot. All of which I don't find someone of good character would have. I would find it better to win with my character and dignity in tact than to just throw that out the window for the sake of becomming a millionaire AGAIN and AGAIN. And then to throw it away on a poker game...sick.see ya R&A go get a real job!
Please stop awarding such bad behavior by putting them on tv.
Amber is a sweatheart and she grew up in a small town right next to where I did.
It was funny watching Rob trying to figure out what was wrong with his signs.
(P-H-I-L-I-P-P-I-N-E-S) Here is one for you Rob, P-A-L-A-R-I-N it means "lucky" in Tagalog which is the national language of the Philippines.
Best of luck to Rob and Amber!
Palarin
i couldn't have said it better!
Too bad this was an elimination round, the sizzle is gone. They were fun to watch and they never turned on each other. We will miss them and the show won't hold our interest as much. Can't you bring them back??
