Angry? It May Be in Your Genes
Genetics may affect women's anger, hostility, and physical aggression, University of Pittsburgh scientists announced today.
Indrani Halder, Ph..D, and colleagues studied 550 unrelated women of European descent. The women completed two aggression and hostility questionnaires.
Halder's team also analyzed variations in the women's HTR2C gene. That gene is one of many genes linked to a brain chemical called serotonin.
Past studies have linked high serotonin levels to lower aggression levels,
note Halder and colleagues.
The new study shows that women with one alteration in the HTR2C gene were
less aggressive, while women with a different alteration in the gene were more physically aggressive. A third alteration in the gene didn't seem to affect aggression or hostility.
The study doesn't prove that those gene mutations made the women more or
less angry, aggressive, or hostile than other women. The results don't provide any information on the women's life experiences, other personality traits, or strategies for handling anger.
The researchers only studied women, so it's not clear if the findings apply
to men.
Halder is due to present the findings today in Budapest, Hungary at the
American Psychosomatic Society's 65th Annual Scientific Conference.

LOL
You will see who has the low IQ (whatever that means) when angrier and angrier females in their state of delusion and lack of dignity and self-control challenge THE MORE DOMINANT MALES.
The result may already be happening; if I'm not mistaken the beat down of females is on the rise in the US, say.
Outside of our witless western nations, females aren't beat as much; and the reason is simple: Those females are a lot more DIGNIFIED and SELF-CONTROLLED (why American men travel abroad for mates)!
Plus, I bet those non-western females already know something that we in the witless west refuse to accept: MALES ARE THE DOMINANT GENDER!
Anger against male will get females beat bad!
If in your shallow thinking you want to talk your nonsense about espousing violence against women, then go ahead and demonstrate that you can't think; and you are in denial of the fact that there IS IN NATURE dominance favoring the males; and WISE WOMEN WILL NEVER EVER LOSE SIGHT OF THAT IMPORTANT FACT!
Foolish females on the other hand will fail to exhibit self-control of their so-called 'anger', go against the natural grain, AND SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES at the hands of EVEN ANGRIER MALES!
Women who refuse to control their anger endanger themselves in more ways than one. It's that simple!
Oh--and by the way, I bet you are thinking of how great if would be to kick my arse right now so you can prove what a man you are. You might like to know that while I have no problems with aggression, I do have 16 years of martial arts and military training, a room full of comptetion trophies, and some free time if you think you can handle it. :-)
RUBBISH!
Women dare to exhibit aggression because mindless males foolishly turn them loose ..... and to their detriment!
Go to ANY other part of the planet; and we WILL NOT find foolish female aggression, those wiser males just don't allow foolish females to get out of line!
Letting females get out of place and become aggressive will be to their detriment; because aggressive females will be foolish enough to challenge the more DOMINANT males more often.
And we know what the outcome of those challenges are going to be MOST OF THE TIME: More foolish females are going to get their arses beat, and OFTEN! Isn't this what is taking place already; more females are getting beat than before?
you almost got that right, should read:
"I feel men get more mad BECAUSE OF us ladies."
...nice try though
