The "Hannah Montana" Stars Talk About Their Friendship

So what happens when you get two "Hannah Montana" costars together for a magazine shoot, serve them mac and cheese, and give them a coupla puppies to play with? They dish on their friendship and what it's like to kiss their costar Cody Lindley on their hit show. Here, exclusive photos and details from Miley Cyrus and Emily Osment's new interview with Teen magazine.



At a studio in Los Angeles, the girls posed with adorable puppies that were on loan from Karma Rescue of Santa Monica, Calif. They named the puppies and wanted to take them home but left empty handed. Food and furry friends brought the conversation to their first impressions of each other when they met on the set of the Disney Channel series.

Miley said, "When we first met, Emily and I were automatically really, really close … every day it's something new for us and when you're with someone all the time, it's more than just being friends; we're sisters now - we love each other like sisters and we fight like sisters." Emily's first impression of Miley was, "'Wow, she's really out there!' Since then she's been a great friend of mine."



Miley spilled the beans on kissing her costar, cutiepie Cody Lindley, who plays Jake Ryan on the show. "It was like the best 10 seconds of my life. I was like, 'Oh my gosh, he's like an angel!' " she says. "At one point they weren't filming anymore, but I made Cody think they were so I could kiss him one more time!"
