(CBS/AP)  Jennifer Aniston will reportedly lock lips with her pal Courteney Cox when she guest stars on her show, "Dirt," in March, the New York Post reported Tuesday

Michael Ausiello of TVGuide.com tells the newspaper that, "Aniston's character is a lesbian. What's more, she won't just mouth off to Cox's tightly wound counterpart; she's going to share a lip lock with her."

The former "Friends" costars are re-teaming on the FX show, but this time they're anything but friends.

Aniston, 37, will play Tina Harrod, a rival magazine editor of Cox's ruthless tabloid queen, Lucy Spiller.

The episode, which airs March 27, marks the first time the two "Friends" stars have worked together since the popular, long-running sitcom went off the air in 2004.

"Dirt" takes a dark look at the relationship between the entertainment industry and the tabloids as it follows Cox, 42, as the hard-charging editor of a celebrity rag.

She and her husband, David Arquette, are executive producers on the series with creator Matthew Carnahan and writer Joel Fields.

A request for comment from an FX publicist was not returned.

Don't they realize this stunt didn't do anything for Britanny Spears or Madonna?

This reminds me why I don't watch any of the major networks anymore. Their stunts are a insult to the intelligence of the general public.

Can you say "all for publicity"? A boost for the show, which is said to be faltering, and a boost for Aniston to keep her in the spotlight.
