Brangelina To Raise Family In Big Easy

(CBS/AP)  Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt already have invested in New Orleans, funding a design competition to rebuild hurricane hurricane-ravaged neighborhoods using environmentally friendly designs and construction.

Now they are bringing their much followed, ogled and admired family to the Big Easy.

The couple purchased their fourth home there, a $3.5 million, six-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath mansion in the French Quarter. Jolie told Us Weekly that she and Pitt have moved their three children, Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and 7-month-old Shiloh, to the city where she plans for them to attend school.

"We love it there," Jolie told Us at the Golden Globe Awards. "We're really looking forward to it."

A source told the magazine that Jolie wants to become friends with other "normal" mothers and plans on being a "low-key" mom.

Pitt alluded to the move this summer when he told the media that he and his family were "going to be spending a lot of time down here."

A source told the magazine that the couple hopes that their move will raise awareness for the region and Jolie would like to live in a place where she can continue her charity work.

Welcome, Brad and Angelina, we are glad you want to live in New Orleans, especially our historic French Quarter. New Orleans treasures all her visitors, especially the ones that choose to make it their home. They join the crowds of good-hearted rescuers who are still flocking to the city to do what they can, gutting the flooded houses, caring for the poor and displaced throngs trying to rebuild their homes and lives. Many many celebrities choose our unique city over the wealthy enclaves they could afford, because New Orleans is fascinating, generous, accepting, and loving. Y'all come down, check us out, see the stars and all the characters that make up this unique culture. While you're here, tour the quarter and learn about the only French colony in the states, meet us,see the stars, party with us, laissez le bon temps roullez!

Sigh! I agree, I'm tired of hearing their names and seeing their faces! Media leave them alone for awhile.

Me too, but it is the media. Must be liking living in a fishbowl. I would buy an island and hide...
