Tyrese Allegedly Hits Pregnant Girlfriend

She Tells Police That They Got Into Argument And He Struck Her Twice And Fled

(CBS)  Police are conducting a criminal investigation into allegations that singer-actor Tyrese Gibson punched his girlfriend, who is three months pregnant, TMZ reported on its Web site Thursday.

Police tell TMZ that the 28-year-old's live-in girlfriend claimed the two got into an argument early in the morning at their Los Angeles home and that paramedics responded after he allegedly struck her twice and left the scene.

TMZ says he was scheduled to call in to a Sacramento radio show on Thursday to chat about his latest film, "Transformers," but that never happened.

Tyrese's reps called the station before the interview was to take place and told the DJs he was "M.I.A.," TMZ reports.

I hope this was not true, yet it reminded me of OJ when he was on the freeway after the fact. I hope the image he gives us of himself when he being interviewed on TV, I feel u should b yourself and not mislead people then again he is human and from south central and we really don't know the other side. 2 sides to every story
