Jo Dee Messina To Entertain Troops
(CBS)
Country singer Jo Dee Messina will be entertaining service members stationed in Italy on a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour Jan. 5 through Jan. 10.
This will be the first USO tour for the singer, who will stop in Naples, Venice and Vicenza during the trip. She will entertain and meet service members and their families while there.
"It's an honor to be part of anything that supports our men and women in the military," Messina said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to a good time and some great shows."
The tour follows Messina's performance at the USO's 65th Anniversary gala last September.
