Lohan Off The Sauce, On The Pole

(CBS)  Lindsay Lohan's stripper saga continued Tuesday night when she arrived at Scores West, a New York topless bar, and announced that contrary to popular belief, she loves those who disrobe for money.

An item in the New York Post's Page Six said that after a leaked e-mail in which Lohan called strippers — "except for some, obviously" — whores, she decided to make it up to some of the ladies by calling them into the bathroom to apologize. She later got up on stage and showing off her newly acquired skills with a stripper pole while the customers cheered her on.

A Scores spokesman said Scores doesn't comment on its celebrity clientele, but the club's "Turn Table Tuesdays" have become a popular night with high-profile patrons, many of whom try their hand as a DJ - and some of whome who take it to "the next level" and get on stage.

Lohan, who plays a topless dancer in the upcoming film "I Know Who Killed Me," wrote an e-mail earlier this month lamenting about the physically taxing pole-dancing sessions in preparation for the film.

"I mean we're talkin' like, UPPER AND INNER THIGH ACTION — bruised . . . like a walking black-and-blue mark. I mean really though, really, I didn't know it was actually possible to have bruises in such areas of the body," she wrote.

According to Page Six, Lohan was accompanied by an entourage of about 15 people. They sat in the VIP area, where Lohan received lap dances from some of the strippers, including one from two girls at one time. Page Six reported that Lohan was not drinking and stuck to Perrier. Even still, Lohan had been out all night and was seen at night spots Bungalow 8 and Stereo.

On Wednesday morning, Lohan arrived in Miami's South Beach, where she was spotted at the nightclub Mansion partying with ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. A source told Star Magazine that Lohan didn't return to her hotel room until 7 a.m.

Ms. Lohan is not "star" material in Hollywood; not like Taylor, Stanwyck, Lange and Streep - she is a *** who seems not to be able to complete an understandable sentence. Most of her interviews revolve around the word Uh. She thinks whomever's name is mentioned is "cool" and I wonder if she knows she sounds like a ***. Her mother is about as useless as her daughter....thinking that it is okay to be drunk, etc. at her age. Yes, I partied very hardy in my day, but I never made myself into an idiot. The other thing is who says she is a good actress....her movies have all gone straight to the "Sale" DVD rack at Walmart. Lindsey needs to shut up, get some education, quit pretending that pole dancing is making her part for her movie.....it is just another example of her "flaunting" herself in public. Trust me, the world is getting over you, just as they have Brittany.

A very interesting story - what I find interesting is that Lohan seems to know there is something wrong with her friend's lifestyle, this crazy club party scene that our country's youth have adopted. Yet without a framework of belief that says what is right and wrong in an objective sense, she is struggling to come to terms. At times, drinking and s*xual partying must seem very right to her, at other times it must seem very wrong. I've never had the opportunity to live that lifestyle (I'm fat and tired and don't like noise or crowds) so I wonder what it is really like. Seems its not all good. It looks like fun, but Lohan is apparently feeling it isn't that fun, since she's trying not to drink now.
