'God Warrior' Returns To Fox
(CBS)
Self-proclaimed "God Warrior" Marguerite Perrin, who became famous for her wild meltdown last season on FOX's "Trading Spaces," will return to the reality show on Jan. 19.
Perrin initially refused to accept the $50,000 she received for being on the season premiere of the reality show, threw a tantrum and ranted against the "dark side" as cameras rolled. Her religious rant became a memorable TV moment last year.
The Louisiana native wanted to use the prize money she received from the reality show to pay for her gastric bypass surgery. She has since lost 94 pounds.
Perrin will also appear on the Jan. 26 episode of "Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy."
The networks says that the two-part episode takes Perrin to the Florida home of Abasi Malone and LaToya Brown, where their 7-year-old daughter, Shachamaah, is home schooled by Mom. Dad drives a taxi and has a newspaper route.
FOX promises that Marguerite and Abasi will butt heads over their views on race, politics, and social injustice.
Perrin resides in Ponchatoula, La., with husband Barry, daughters Ashley and Brooke and granddaughter Abigail. The family runs a dance studio that instructs ballet, jazz, and hip-hop.
