Another big night brings out popular performers and the glitz that goes with them.

(CBS)  The soundtrack for National Lampoon's "Van Wilder: 2, The Rise of Taj" features veterans Everclear, Buckcherry, and a host of up-and-coming indie bands. Now several of the bands on the soundtrack are joining together to go out on tour.

"We're going to do a tour that is the Van Wilder rock and roll extravaganza that's going out in January and February," says Everclear's leader Art Alexakis. "It will be Everclear headlining with Jonny Lives! And a few more bands off the soundtrack. "

The tour kicks off at the House of Blues in West Hollywood with an Everclear only concert on Jan. 26. Then the full lineup travels through various cities through Feb. 24 and the tour ends with one more Everclear concert at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. on Feb. 25.
