Newlyweds Tom and Katie paid close to $5 million for a home outside London.
The six-bedroom retreat in the English countryside is just a couple miles down the road from the U.K.'s Church of Scientology headquarters.
Real estate agents say Cruise has checked out the area in the past because of its exclusivity and proximity to the religious base.
The property is equipped with an indoor swimming pool, sports area, game room, and a state of the art greenhouse.
The Hollywood couple have just returned from a honeymoon on a yacht near the capital of Male, in the Maldives.Click here to see TomKat's A-list wedding guests.

- Well, now we all know where they are!!
I'm happy for them, and I think Tom is the one that needs to grow up: If he's going to treat Katey like a piece of ***; especially after giving birt to beautiful little Suri, then he's full of ***.
Just going to have to hope that nothing like Britney and Kevin will happen to the couple. - Reply to this comment
- gea_Amicus - The problem is that you simply dont have enough hate in your heart! LOL Seriously though, that is nice of You to say....it is funny how many of us hope like crazy to see their marriage fail miserably...how wrong is that! LOL

- I just pity katie in the long run ... I just hope, she'll get smater in the years as time goes by cause ... I she as hell don't want to see another Diana in the making.
What with a husband like her's. God only knows how he likes to control his women.
Maybe that is why Nicole left him after living with him for 11 long years. - Reply to this comment
- kate will grow up soon i hope and she what she's gotten herself into. as much as i don't want them in this country, i feel sorry for her stuck out in the english countryside with only him to cater to his every whim. i guess he has his wish. i have time on my hands, i think i'll make up a religion, too. l ron hubbard probably didn't want to pay taxes on his books so he because his own little priest or something and that way it was donations to the church.

- Imagine though if you had Barbara Walters or Oprah somehow get Tickin' Tommy and Freud in a room together and let them have at it. Secretly give Freud a squirt gun to use on Tommy everytime he says something stupid.
Remember in the eighties how they advertised the *** out of the Dianetics book? I tried to read it but my Attention Deficit Disorder kicked in or something. I can't remember much about it now.
I think in his own head, he believes he is so superior to everyone else that this Scientology somehow allows him the heightened sense of confidence to believe he is a Scientology profit or something. - Reply to this comment
- LOL...."Tickin' Tommy Timebomb!" Hey, Olebd, i am gonna steal that one! Problem is though that Tickin' Tommy would never see Sigmund, because remember, according to Scientology, all you need is Dianetics for mental health! LOL Cruise is a prototypical ignorant hypocrite in every sense of the word. Funny how he ranted off about Psychology and Psychiatry being "not real" and "pseudo-science". This coming from an idiot who believes in E-Meters and Soul-catchers above volcanoes in Hawaii and Intergalatic DC-9 spacecraft fighting alien space wars and invisible murdered "Body Thetans" attached to humans and...well, you get the idea! Tickin' Tommy Timebomb criticizing and calling ANYTHING "pseudo-science" is the proverbial pot making fun of the kettle for being black! Gotta hand it to L.Ron Hubbard though for sucking the ignorant in like a Dyson Vacuum...he chose the name "scientology" for a reason, because it implies to the ignorant masses that true "SCIENCE", based on verifiable facts and quantifiable evidence, actually plays a role in his ridiculous theocratic belief structure. It must be sad to NEED to believe so badly in something that one will swallow garbage like this...ignorance is most certainly not bliss, but in order to function, organized religion in general relies on and demands a pure blind and ignorant faith that is so ridiculously easy to factually annihilate if ones thought processes are pragmatic rather than emotionally based. That is, as the name implies, INARGUABLE!

- I wish ol Sigmond Frued was around for a debate with Tickin' Tommy Timebomb! That would make for some riveting television.

- hey Bobgee...You are right, i cannot respect someone's religious convictions - ANY religious convictions - when those rigid adherents make it their mission to (vainly) attempt to systematically attack and degrade MY intelligence by repeatedly telling me that i am wrong and misled and doomed for eternity simply because i choose to live my life based on FACTS and EVIDENCE rather than hyperbolic rhetoric and theologic claims that are utterly unsubstantiated, totally unverifiable, factually unsupportable, incontrovertibly inaccurate, grossly misleading, heavily prejudicial, entirely without factual or evidentiary merit, and unequivocally reliant on enforced ignorance that scornfully rejects scientifically proveable counters that, at worst, seriously call into question the religion's claims of inerrancy, and at best provide factually inarguable data that apodictically demonstrates the fallaciousness and patently erroneous nature of the faith-based belief structure. This is an argument you cannot win, because i have facts and evidence supporting my claims, and you have nothing but faith - and faith by its very definition is an unprovable belief that is not supported by any form of proof. Believe what you want, but if you push your ignorant faith on me, you better be able to back it up with something more than ancient scripture and fairy tales.
