(CBS/AP) Actress Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from her musician husband Kid Rock after less than four months of marriage, her publicist confirmed to TheShowbuzz.com.
The couple were married July 29 on a yacht in St. Tropez. Then they tied the knot twice in August in a civil ceremony in Beverly Hills and at a honky tonk in Nashville.
Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, filed a separate divorce petition, within an hour of Anderson's, early Monday. Anderson reported their separation date as Nov. 21; Ritchie said it was Nov. 26.
Both cited irreconcilable differences as the reason.
On her Web site Monday, Anderson posted a message that said, "Divorce Yes, it's true. Unfortunately impossible." A picture of the pair appeared next to the statement.
Earlier this month, US Weekly magazine reported that Anderson confirmed that she suffered a miscarriage. Anderson's rep asked that "Pamela's privacy be respected at this time."
On Oct. 28, the couple exchanged vows again in a suburban Detroit restaurant in the most traditional of their four wedding ceremonies. According to the Detroit Free Press, Anderson wore a formal white wedding dress and Rock wore a black tux and Panama hat.Photos: Pamela Anderson & Kid Rock's nuptials

Your comment about "Heaven forbid people who have been together for 10, 20, 30, 50 yrs cant get legally married because they are the same ***"...guess you haven't heard about the 2 women married in Massachusettes trying to get a divorce in Rhode Island..now putting the courts in a dilemma because since the state doesn't recognize same s*ex marriages, how can the 2 get divorced? So it isn't any different..and these 2 women were at the forefront of getting same s*ex marriages legalized. How's that for an embarrassment!!!!
