Celeb Royalty Arrive For TomKat Wedding

The Hollywood A-list has relocated thousands of miles across the globe to Rome in anticipation of what has been dubbed "the wedding of the century," set to take place tomorrow.

Last night Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes celebrated their impending wedding with a lavish dinner at the Roman restaurant Nino's with their wedding party and their Hollywood friends and family.

Cruise and Holmes celebrated with their daughter Suri and Cruise's two children from his former marriage to Nicole Kidman, Conner and Isabella.

The wedding is shaping up to be a star-studded event, reports Entertainment Tonight's Jann Karl. Brooke Shields, clad in leather and sunglasses, attended the dinner with her husband, Chris Henchy. Actress Jenna Elfman and husband Bodhi were also there. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer said it was a "wonderful dinner."

Earlier, Jennifer Lopez arrived in Rome wearing a hat and diamond earrings and clutching the arm of her husband, Latin crooner, Marc Anthony.

While many stars were checking in at the Hotel Hassler, Karl learned that Cruise went to the St. Regis to personally greet some of his other guests. Cruise and Holmes are staying in the Hassler.

The stars left Burbank, Calif., airport yesterday bound for Rome, "the eternal city." Lopez was seen making a last minute phone call and greeting actress Jada Pinkett-Smith with a kiss.

The paparazzi camped out outside the Hotel Hassler, but Entertainment Tonight got access inside the hotel where Cruise and Holmes worked out inside the hotel's gym.

The bride's parents, Martin and Kathleen Holmes are also staying in the Hotel Hassler. Holmes was spotted there with her mother. Cruise's mother Mary Lee went to Rome's private airport to pick up one of his sisters.

One star who was left of the list is talk shown queen Oprah Winfrey. It was on her show that Cruise jumped on a couch and declared his love for Holmes last year.

What a pity... and so many hungry and sick children, guess scientology doesn't teach compassion, or responsibility, or respect...
If the media would ignore all this "publicity" and they make it that, themselves, maybe some of these a-h, would make better use of their money.

I wonder how many hungry children in America could have been fed and clothed with the $$$ squandered by this decadent group?

I'm sure part of this whole phase is a reflection of the start of a midlife crisis for Tom.

I remember Katie once saying how she had a poster of Tom in her room when she was a little girl. Creepy!

Why do people make all these derogatory remarks about celebs.? There are things going on today that are disgusting, but if people are not interested, why bother to watch or read?? No one asked them to expose themselves to anything they don't like or believe in, but then, they have to have something to complain or redicule about!!!
Get a life!!!!
