What will autumn breezes blow into your local multiplex? Here's a look at some upcoming movies.
She is frequently called the best actress of her generation, having received four Academy Award nominations before she turned 30.
The Oscar buzz has begun anew for her portrayal of a discontented mother in the new film, "Little Children."
On The Early Show Friday, Winslet admitted to co-anchor Rene Syler that the renewed Oscar talk is "nerve-wracking, but it's also unbelievably exciting to think that I'm in something that I feel very, very proud of — and that it's even being considered in that way at the moment … it's scary, too."
In the movie, Winslet plays a bored housewife who has a torrid affair with a man she meets in a playground.
"It's really very much a story about how this woman's loneliness leads her to think she's in love with this man who's basically a complete stranger. But the relationship ultimately changes who she is as a woman and a mother," Winslet observed.
She also admitted some skittishness, even at this stage of her career, over going nude in the film.
Winslet has two other films hitting theaters, the animated "Flushed Away" and "The Holiday."
She told Syler her young children had interesting reactions to hearing her as one of the voices in "Flushed Away."
