He picked Todd Pippin, of St. Helena, Calif., to go with him on a whirlwind weekend in Tokyo, "All-Access"-style.
Pippin has studied the Japanese culture for years, and going there was a lifelong dream for him.
They kicked off the weekend in style, with big, comfy first-class seats on Japan Airlines.
After 11 hours on a flat bed, Price and Pippin made their way to their home-away-from-home for the weekend, the Four Seasons, Marunouchi.
Pippin called the accommodations "awesome."
The first place they visited in Tokyo was a city icon, the Meiji shrine, where they immersed themselves in the rich tradition of the Japanese Shinto culture.
"I think I'm turning Japanese. I really think so!" Pippin remarked.
Japan, Price said, not only has an incredible culture and natural beauty, but "consumerism at its best," such as at the food court inside Isetan, a mega-supermarket/department store. Price and Pippin went around tasting everything in sight.
And Price pointed to an item on sale that most Americans have never seen — tuna eye!
Price held it up to his own eye and kidded, "We can write off this whole trip right now. You're watching CBS!"
From there, it was on to the Duty Free Show in Tokyo's famed electronics district, Akihabara. Tokyo is, of course, a hub of advanced electronics, and Pippin was given the latest Sony digital camera at Akky International.
Later, Price and Pippin headed to Namimura for a traditional Japanese dinner in the company of Japan's famous geishas, consuming, among other things, blowfish, which can be deadly if it's not cut correctly.
They also took in a geisha show.
Their Monday morning was an early start, at the Tokyo tuna auction, at 5 a.m.
After that, Pippin's shot at stardom. Sort of.
The All-Access pass got Price and Pippin the opportunity to be voices in a Pokémon cartoon, at the Anime Center in Tokyo.
When Pippin left for home, Price reminded him that he had to "take a left, and continue for 5,000 miles!"
The trip was arranged with the help of the Japan National Tourist Organization.

This was the last "All-Access" trip in the current series.
