Photo Essay Elle Style Awards Pretty people turn up for the fashion magazine's awards that celebrate style.
The pop star and her mother were at Macy's on State Street in Chicago at a promotional event for their new "House of Dereon" line. The event attracted a large crowd of devoted fans who were enjoying the event.
"It was really awesome. I love her so much and I don't know it was really amazing,” said one fan.
“The clothes appeal to everyone; the working woman, the teenager, the trendy woman,” Beyonce said.

The new, higher end line is called House of Dereon. Allyson Masters, the owner of Impressions Boutique in Wheaton, Ill. said the pieces are beautifully made.
But she said there's just one problem, the sizing was all wrong.
“I could not get the two tops I received to fit anybody," Masters said.
Consumer Reporter Dorothy Tucker of CBS 2 Chicago had heard similar concerns from other local retailers. When she asked about those concerns, the interview abruptly came to an end.
