(CBS)  Mario Lopez denies rumors that he is dating his "Dancing With The Stars" partner, Latin dancing champion Karina Smirnoff.

A source told Us Weekly that the two have been dating since August. But, Lopez told People Tuesday there's no chemistry with his partner when they're off the dance floor.

"Oh, no, I'm single," Lopez told People. "Available. Not really looking. When it happens, it happens."

Lopez has been married once, to Doritos model Ali Landry whom he had dated for six years. The couple wed on April 24, 2004, but Landry filed for divorce just two weeks later.

At the time, a source told People that Landry had recently discovered that Lopez was unfaithful for several years.

Born in the Ukraine, Smirnoff is a five-time U.S. National Champion and a top Latin dancer.
