The footage shows scenes of training at the camp. Masked militants perform martial arts kicks or learn how to break the hold of someone who grabs them from behind. Several militants are shown practicing hiding and pulling out fold-out knives.
Venzke said the footage shown on Al-Jazeera was part of a video he expected would be more than an hour long, based on the previous such videos on the Sept. 11 attacks.
"They produce long videos like these not just for 9-11, but for any significant events they feel warrant their attention," Venzke said.
One aim is to boost recruitment, but such videos have several purposes — "to speak to their supporters, to raise morale within their own group, to facilitate fundraising, and to serve as a psychological attack," he said.
Al-Jazeera also broadcast an audiotape Wednesday that was said to be the first released by the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, who succeeded the militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi three months ago.
In that tape, Abu Hamza al-Muhajer said he was confident that victory will be achieved and called on all mujahedeen to unite on the battlefield, the station reported.
It played a brief excerpt from the tape, in which the speaker said, "Our enemy has unified its ranks against us. Isn't it time to get together, worshippers of God?"
Al-Muhajer, a previously unknown militant, became the leader of Iraq's most feared insurgent group after al-Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. air strike June 7. Al-Muhajer was announced as al Qaeda in Iraq's new leader on June 12 and received Osama bin Laden's endorsement in an audiotape from the al Qaeda chief.
U.S. officials say they believe al-Muhajer is an Egyptian known as Abu Ayyoub al-Masri, an explosives expert who trained with al-Zarqawi in bin Laden's camps in Afghanistan.
The U.S. military has put a $5 million bounty on al-Muhajer's head.

This is the mistake we common people often make. The answers is a big YES. In fact these animal handlers often include qualified people who are formally educated and doctors/engineers in their countries; its another thing that they hide and live like people who lived 1000 years back from now. Yet another problem is the concern that they easily brain wash educated people in our countries, you can see in every street talking in their favour! ..... unfortunately these animal handlers are a real problem and yes they carried out bombings. Further if we strictly talk about it from point of view of terrorism, for some one to become a terrorist he/she need not get formal education or live like a well mannered person in a civilised society or place. You will find evil almost any where; in any circumstances.

This is about Bin Laden and terrorism, not a war campaign poster for world war II. Who cares about Palastine, I may not be the smartest person , but I haven't heard of an American dying for that cause in quit awhile. If your trying to make a corrolation me thinks your lost. I liked your defenition of a patriot, beyond that, God chosen, God neglected, European invaders, you sound as if your regurgitating something you have read because all you have done is repeat the same chant, WOW!!
WWII to occupy their land by force but the most dangerous enemies of US who dont believe in the constitution which separates church from state wants to support the existance of Israel on the cost of American money and American lives because Americans are GOD NEGLECTED and European invaders in Palestine are GOD CHOOSEN.That's why its the responsibility of GOD NEGLECTED Americans to pay tax and the right of GOD NEGLECTED EUROPEANS to snatch more then 3B$ for the killing of those people who give us oil.All this on the name of GOD whose existance is not proven by scientific evidence.
