(CBS)  Some of musics' biggest and brightest stars strutted across the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards, and The Early Show fashionista David Evangelista, the fashion police cop on the beat, caught up with several of them.

On the show Friday, he handed out his ratings for best and worst dressed, and discussed the numerous short skirts and dresses in evidence at the awards, as well as a few other trends.
