Anniesa Paris e-mailed The Early Show about her parents, Ronnie and Sandie Paris.
Anniesa wrote that her parents, who just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary, watch The Early Show and said they really deserve a celebration for being together for all the ups and downs.
In all that time, the couple, who raised and made sacrifices for their two daughters, and later their grandchildren, never had a honeymoon or took a romantic getaway.
Long overdue for a vacation, the lovebirds will start the next chapter of their lives on an exciting Caribbean cruise.
Surprise! Dave Price talks with the unsuspecting couple.Celebrity Cruise has arranged a six-day, five-night trip onboard their ship The Century. They will leave Miami for wonderful ports of call and the onboard adventure of sun, fun, the AquaSpa and fitness center, fabulous food and live entertainment.
Airfare is courtesy of our "Great American Vacation" travel partner, American Airlines.
Asked why she was crying, Sandie Paris told Dave Price, "I never win anything. Just $50 at a car show ... This is something I've always wanted to do — go on a cruise ship. I was on a ship once. My nephew got married on one down in Galveston. That's the closest I ever got, but I had to get off."

Dan's Diary Also worth celebrating is Ronnie's recent retirement from FedEx after 20 years. But is this hard worker, who has already gotten a part-time job to stay busy, ready to relax with a vacation? "Yes, I am," he said.
"I'm 29 and my parents have been there for me and my 26-year-old sister and they've never been selfish," a teary-eyed Anniesa told Price. "They've always made sure me and my sister had whatever we wanted, they take care of my daughter and my sister's children. They're there everyday. My mom retired to help take care of our babies."
Do you know someone deserving of a "Great American Vacation"?
