(CBS)  In Michigan, a police car camera caught a terrifying crash on tape.

Emily Bowness, 29, of Grand Rapids, was driving her SUV on Monday when another vehicle sideswiped hers near the Webberville entrance to Interstate 96.

She tried to stay on the road, but her SUV started rolling across the highway.

It flipped about over eight times.

Miraculously, Bowness walked away from the wreck.

She and Oakland County, Mich. Sheriff's Deputy Kimberly Potts, who saw the whole thing, spoke about it with co-anchor Julie Chen on The Early Show Thursday.
